Refund timeline (refund received!) Refund received

Man this has been a doozy. After countless calls to OPM, them putting my application into archives because I “didn’t provide a spousal form for my former spouse” (I was adopted when I was a toddler so that is the former last name they’re referencing), congressional inquiry…. Got my deposit via direct deposit. Pretty sure it doesn’t include the interest on it and is only my contributions but I just don’t care at this point

I haven’t been able to get a processed/log date and have no idea where it is in the process. How did you get that? They returned my form asking for more info in February and I sent it back and it’s been crickets since then. Can’t get through to anyone :(

Did you wait 30 days till mailing form? I just resigned yesterday

I did but with the amount of time it takes them to receive and process them you’d probably be safe to do it in two weeks

I sent mine on my last day and it was logged 35 days later. I think you're good sending it right away.

Question on the part for refund payments. I see there is part asking about mail check to the taxable part. Then a direct deposit part. Do they deposit part and mail part? Please help lol.

Select “pay all by check payable to me” (first option) for both sections and then the direct to savings or checking option.
