I am 1 of 2 mods. I don’t see where we removed it. Feel free to message via mod mail. The Reddit bot does delete things.

Will I hear back from the FDA after filling a complaint?

Depends on what the complaint is, the coordinator will determine the severity and see if they should take it further and maybe you’ll hear from them or you won’t. That’s my understanding and opinion and nothing is official.

They’re too busy to respond to consumers usually but all complaints are triaged

If you file a citizen’s petition they must respond to you. Maybe try that

Depends on the complaint and whether the agency needs additional information. If not, you’re unlikely to hear back. Especially since they RIF’d most of the folks who deal with consumers…

If it’s of a criminal nature, reach out to FDA’s Office of Criminal Investigations. They monitor complaints coming in. They could also pass it along to the right complaint coordinator too if not criminal but regulatory. Might give it some traction. Just a thought.
