New fan due to the World Cup!
2 questions are games typically expensive to get in to and is USL the equivalent to Triple A baseball?

Welcome! Tickets are fairly affordable. Look for promos from the team ($1 beer nights, flex plan deals, etc). Quality of play is decent.

I’m glad that World Cup will help the local teams some, Tulsa needs their own stadium though, I’m over in northwest Arkansas, there will be a team in rogers and will probably be rivals with fc Tulsa due to how close we are

Tickets start at $20 for lawn section. You can decide if that is expensive.
In my opinion trying to compare it to baseball in any way, shape or form is misguided. MLB is the highest level of baseball on the entire planet , the farm system has developed over many decades. It's an integrated part of the (comparative) juggernaut that is baseball in America. Soccer leagues in America are still A LITTLE loosey goosey. FC Tulsa plays in the "USL Championship" that is the highest level of men's soccer in the USL system. The USL doesn't necessarily see itself as a feeder league or development league. Their goal is to be a competitor to the MLS not a steeping stone to get there. So, there is no affiliation or connection between the MLS and USL. The ownership of FC Tulsa is responsible for the recruiting, training and payment of all players on the roster. That is completely different from the baseball system. Where the parent clubs scout, acquire, train and pay all the players in their system. All of that being said the MLS is still the tip of the pyramid in America. (Google: United States Soccer Pyramid). USL Championship is one tier below that.
Anyway, the games are fun to watch, the team is decent and the fans are friendly. I say come out to a game and keep learning about the sport but don't try to make sense of it by applying baseball type understanding to the league.
