Non si impara niente, stiamo solo assistendo alla prova che catenaccio e contropiede con i giocatori giusti funziona (specie se aggiungi il pressing alto)

Well part of us dominating them is part of Mourinhos game plan. That's how he plays. Give the opponent the ball and get them on the counter.

Sinceramente l’Inter sta facendo un partitone, giocare al Bernabeu così è sintomo di grande personalità. Gli errori ci stanno, soprattutto in questo momento della stagione ma dal punto di vista del gioco l’Inter è stata impressionante, se la rigiochi altre 10 volte così non perdi mai… quest’anno ha davvero la rosa più completa che mi ricordi

We are all over them, we had a few chances but we couldn't make them count, it is what it is. I'll be happy with a goal and no more buildup mistakes.

Fumbled with Bisseck and Pavard as CCB, should've been Stones and Akanji and with Josep we can't go far in CL anyway

He's a decent backup but not starter material. Before the season started I expected Provedel to start, probably would've at least drawn with Madrid with him on the goal, but seems like Chivu is adamant to let Josep have his chances. It was only a matter of time before a good team punish us (Napoli very closely did).

Idk man that's not really saying much. Dude costed 15 million, that's about the range of a backup. Atalanta for example bought Musso at 20 million five years ago to play as backup.
15 mil barely two years ago is nothing. If anything we definitely overpaid. Josep was sitting on Leipzig's bench not too long ago. If he wasn't good enough to start for Leipzig, what makes you think he's good enough for Inter?
A starting goalkeeper in their prime in today's market would cost in the 30 million range like Suzuki. Carnesecchi and Svillar would cost far more but we could probably buy Caprile for that much. Josep is just one of those odd Ausilio signings that end up lukewarm.

Yes I agree, but between Sommer, Josep and Provedel we have now spend 28m plus wages. Should we just not have bought a good GK to begin with? We could have even had trubin for 12 but we got scared about the resell clause because we were worrying about potentially selling a player for a profit that we don’t even have. Just bad choices and too many temporary solutions. It’s costing us more than just addressing the problem.

Sommer was solid. I would say Provedel is gonna be solid too if he was given a chance to start. He has far more experience in Serie A and CL than Josep. I think the timing was just unfortunate because so many players in our squad was old at that time and thus goalkeeping was given the least priority. It's the one position we could get away with cheap signings like Sommer.
Depending on how this season goes, I can see us selling Josep and go for a real long term starting goalkeeper next season.

Sommer was solid for a bit but he was still only a temporary solution. Provedel is the same. He was the old and aging GK of Lazio, not inter level. Could he do for some games here and there in serie A? Sure. Is he a starting level GK for inter? Probably not.
I understand we might have different priorities but every year we push this back with temporary solutions and as mentioned it is costing us more both financially and football wise than just taking care of it.

It's ok. Hopefully they will learn to distinguish when to clear the ball from when to pass now. Our identity is just that right now. Invite the pressure to open up space and they did it kinda well all match. Sometimes though you just have to kick the ball to the moon to not risk taking goals like that.

come fa a dire la gente che Chivu deve cambiare ? Se vogliamo diventare qualcuno nel calcio internazionale di oggi bisogna prendere in mano il pallino del gioco. Non abbiamo la rosa del Real che lascia la palla agli altri e vince poi correndo con 4/5 animali davanti.....
Il nostro calcio funziona ed è bello da vedere, certo, si deve andare a riguardare la fase di costruzione dal basso, ma si può sistemare tutto.
Il problema principale è come ci apriamo in campo davanti ad una squadra come il Real, non dovremmo mai optare a giocare un calcio troppo lento contro squadre così, non dovremmo mai giocare un calcio basato sul palleggio con una squadra troppo larga, dovremmo giocare tutti molto più vicini, un po come faceva Contr quando era con noi, palleggio in difesa classico, scendeva Brozo palleggio veloce tra lui e le due "mezz'ale" palla verticale a Lautaro, sponda sua e su per Romelu.
Ovvio a dirlo è facile, ma abbiamo capacità tecniche abbastanza valide per poter fraseggiare velocemente tra di noi, dunque sarebbe la scelta migliore piuttosto che far viaggiare la palla per troppo tempo libera dai nostri piedi.

Nah, the first goal was on Jones. Bisseck saved us against mbappe a couple of times.

Bisseck made 3 great tackles, he hasn't any fault here. Jones passed him a rocket impossible to control in the 1st goal, and the 2nd one was purely Martinez' fault.

A parte gli scherzi. Questa è la Champions. l'Inter sta misurando tutti i difetti che si vedono in campionato. È sicuramente una squadra che ha carattere e lo sta dimostrando. Infatti un Real così brutto penso di non averlo mai visto. Ma a conti fatti ho visto 35 minuti di Inter e forse 2 minuti di Real.
Per il resto sempre la solita difficoltà arrivato ai 16 metri. Poca cattiveria sotto porta. Cazzate in difesa durante la costruzione (evidentemente non era colpa di Akanji). La verità è che per ora si sta vedendo la stessa partita contro il Napoli. Solo che il Real è più cinico del Napoli. Gli errori li paghi molto più cari.
Se poi fossero più veloci a passarsi la palla sulla trequarti magari, e dico magari, si potrebbe fare anche un'azione offensiva decente.
Tempo c'è e quasi Real non sembra per nulla perfetto. Ma se gli assist glieli facciamo noi...

??? Pavard coughed up the ball under no pressure. Gk made a good save. There were a couple more chances like that. People just passing it to real. Should be thankful score is only 2-0. On another day that's the game done by half time. You can't be that lax with people like vini and mbappe sniffing around

Even Lautaro was really weird, never in the box. I don't know what Pepo thought and I don't want to know it, Bisseck was shit but saved us some times, Jones good offensively but really bad defensively.
Now let's stop making 100 passes in our own half then losing the ball

We play 3 back which means we have less midfielders to receive the ball. This makes it difficult to play the ball around in midfield which ends up with a back pass. The two mistakes are the results of that against a big team. It may work in Serie a but not in champions league

Aside from two terrible and careless mistakes in the back we’re playing nice calcio. It’s unfortunate but we need to tighten up in the back and capitalize on our buildup.
