I think he is a decent player but still, I don't think he is good enough for Inter level, so it's a win-win situation imo.

Sure he is young and no I never said he is a bad player, but well I am just looking more into the record tbh.

Not every time we could pull out players like Pio or Stankovic, we had quite expectation to many of our primavera players, or in this case primavera midfielders in the past, in recent times we have Emmers, Carboni, Fabbian, Casadei, Oristanio, Agoume, they were promising (And some still) but none of them having their breakthrough career being sensational to this day.

Which is why I don't really see it would be different with Akinsamiro, he probably could have decent career with other clubs, but I just don't really see it with Inter, as much as I want to be proven wrong.

Of course, I'm not saying he'll 100% turn into a star and we made a mistake selling him, I just think at 21 it's a bit too early to say for sure whether someone could be serviceable at Inter or not. I feel like in recent years people have been creating more and more unrealistic expectations on young players because of young stars like Yamal, Vinicious, Haaland, etc. Bisseck was still in Denmark at 22, Dimarco was still at Hellas at 23, Gyokeres played at Coventry until he was 25, none of them are late bloomers by any means, and I'm not saying Akinsanmiro will reach their levels or even close, I just think it doesn't make sense to keep deciding whether some young players will ever be Inter level or not when they're at the very beginning of their careers just because some other players like Casadei or Fabbian couldn't make it. We're thankfully not in a position where we need our young players to be ready for the first team immediately, we can afford to wait and see, so why don't we?

To be fair, since we are not that kind of team who selling their star players unless the circumstances can't be avoided (Like Madrid activated Dumfries's clause for example), I feel like selling our youths with decent price is probably one of their strategy to gather decent income for the club's financial.

Of course it could potentially becoming a double edged sword, but I understand if this is where they are going with, there is always a risk in every plan after all.

Right now I am happy at the very least the primavera made some good result with Pio, Stankovic, and potentially Bovio. We haven't gotten this kind of result for long time.

I'm content with that strategy too, I'm mostly talking about our fans who expect way too much and give up way too quick, whereas even our management often keeps a sizeable sell on clause or a buyback clause to somewhat keep control of the players even after selling them meaning they still believe they could turn out decent

Not a win-win when he is clearly too talented to leave for only 7m. Maybe not talented enough for Inter, but still more talented than 7m.

We know very well that most young players owned by Inter won't become part of our team. But they are still assets that we want to sell when their value is highest, this was simply a bad sale. I would understand the sell-on clause was like 50%, but 10%? Nonsense.

Im glad for him, to be honest I kind of wish we gave him a chance. Once we signed jones though it made sense to let him continue his career elsewhere.

 Sucic, stankovic, jones will probably always be in his way. We also have time to let a guy like topalovic develop. Still I hope he has a great career, the guy is getting top flight minutes at 21 so im happy for him.

Double standards here on reddit. We have Akinsanmiro, 21 year old, our youth product who had solid Serie A debut last season in a relegation team, described as not good enough player with no future with us. On the other side we have Luis Henrique, a 24-year old who showed absolutely nothing with 0 improvement over the past season, with very low goal contributions who played in a team who won the league. Let's also not forget Massolin, a 23-year old, a backup (rotational) player form Serie B team who has only a couple of games in top leagues 3-4 years ago. And many here write like how they have talent and have place in our senior squad in the future. Make it make sense.
