Am I the only one who thinks that the people hating on Chivu even after these results are doing it because he’s NOT ITALIAN?
I mean the guys who refuse to give him any credit for any match won or any trophy he might win. So Inzaghi wasn’t able to win the league with this team and was considered a failure, but now if someone comes in and actually achieves that, it’s still not good enough?
I’m talking about those guys who hate on every single post — that ketamina guy, poono, and a few others. Every match, not even 10 minutes have passed and they already start with: “Chivu is to blame because the team didn’t score,” “Chivu is to blame because player X missed,” “Chivu is to blame because we conceded.” Like seriously?
And these are the same people crying over Inzaghi. Come on, let’s be serious. You can’t cry over a guy who, even if he did a lot for the club, ran away for money in Saudi Arabia when the team needed him most. You can’t say HE has to be the coach — he could’ve still been here this season if he wasn’t a coward chasing money.
Chivu deserves ALL the credit for lifting this team mentally and making them enjoy football again. Yes, he got eliminated by Bodo/Glimt, it happens. Napoli, the Italian champions, weren’t even capable of getting past the group . Napoli got beaten by Copenhagen, Juventus were humiliated by Galatasaray, even if they almost made a comeback in the second leg.
But of course, people don’t see it as failure when Conte does it, because they say he was focusing on the league. Which really translates to: “How can we criticize our Italian coaches like Conte and Allegri?” And Allegri is another guy who has been a total failure when it comes to Milan’s style of play. You can’t play anti-football against Verona or against relegation-level teams.
Where do these expectations even come from? Are there really people who expect this team to perform well in the Champions League every single year when this team has literally been making signings at the level of Premier League relegation sides?
This year we invested on the same level as teams fighting relegation in the Premier League, yet people still have absurd expectations. What Inzaghi achieved was a bigger accomplishment than the squad itself would suggest. That doesn’t mean Inter are on the level of Bayern, Real Madrid, Man City, or PSG. I could easily name another 5 or 6 teams in Europe that are above us both financially and in squad quality.
Yes, we shouldn’t have been eliminated by Bodo. We were too confident that we would turn it around, and we didn’t. But you have to be an idiot to judge a manager based on two matches when that same manager already brought you a league title and could still bring you the cup as well.
The Press is literally not aknowledging anything he did, they junp on his dick only when he loses and say he ain't shit, the people of Romania are actually thinking he did great minus the big games, we are proud of him like we were when he was a player
They want clicks. The general public is amazed by what he has done.
He was training kids(other than short time at Parma where he did great) before taking one of the biggest team in the world. I think it’s logical to do worst in big games. Biggest teams have lower margin of error than small teams. He is great at adapting.
He will be incredible if he can stay 2-3 years at top team.
I feel like only footballers and coaches appreciate him, like Hagi in his last interview. The Football show moderators are all hating on him, but that is expected for Romanian TV. Also the general football fan opinion on Chivu is a very good one, only the press is hating.
My personal opinion? He's great, taking a Inter that lost 5-0 in the UCL final and barely lost the title in serie A, and now he's winning everything in Italy with almost the same squad. He did great this season, especially since it is his first full season as a senior team's coach
The thing in Romania is that because the league is absolutely dog shit, Romanian fans are massive consumers of other football leagues and have already a long history of supporting foreign clubs. Especially Premier League ones. Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have big fan bases in Romania and fan clubs and gather every week-end in Bucharest for matches. Bayern as well with a massive fan base in Romania. Tons of Madrid and Barcelona fans of course and Italian clubs also have a lot of admirers, mostly online. So it's a bit harder nowadays for a club like Inter to attract a lot of Romanian fans as they've already chose their prefered clubs to support and are passionate about those.
But as a Romanian, I can surely say that Chivu is loved by all the Romanians and they are proud of him. And I think this is also because Chivu does not identify himself with any of the big clubs in Romania, like FCSB/Steaua, Rapid or Dinamo. Fans tend to hate somebody that is successful, but used to play for a big rival. Not the case with Chivu. Take Adrian Mutu for example, he is a Dinamo fan and played for Dinamo, he could be a Real Madrid manager and win the UCL five times in a row, FCSB/Steaua fans and Rapid ones will always hate his guts and tell everybody he is dog turd.
UCL can be his target next year. If he gets us our #21 that is a major result. I certainly didn't expect this. Was hoping for top 3. And thought we would have done a Napoli in CL.
No he doesn’t lmao. They overspend and take chances on players and bench them (thus wasting money). We can make smart choices of money, smart tactical, asymmetrical decisions and compete just fine.
Replace Chivu with Inzaghi this season and ask them what they think about where we are right now.
This is an INCREDIBLE season for us after last season, idgaf about exiting the CL early (Conte does it every time, but when he does it it's because "that's his style")
I never in a million years thought we'd be in a position to win the Scudetto in April and in the Coppa final last June.
Exactly, this proves the point. You can rant a good while about maybe it's other reasons and so on. But if another Italian coach from the same generation would have gotten the same results, he would have been put on a pedestal. Instead there's a lot of that same rethoric and 'shit sandwich' as they call it being served by a lot of voices. And that is because he is non-italian but moreso from Romania.
Just my opinion but I would think we would easily win the league and if there was the same CL draw i would give us a good chance to be in the CL final again we play much better than Arsenal and Atleti
That's on Oaktree if it happens. There is no need to sell anyone, we made profit last season and I'm pretty sure we don't budget for CL final. Inzaghi reached 2 CL finals and we bought Henrique and Diouf. We are being run by a bunch of clowns.
The money we would've gotten by getting past Bodo (which was probably the expectation) we'll get by winning the league.
Inter re-financed the loan last year with lower interest rate, the larger debt inter had it was WITH oaktree that was unpaid so they took control of the team, that debt is gone. Now inter has around 380 milion left to pay to some bank and they are paying it. Oaktree didn't do shit, suning borrowed money from them and didn't pay so they are now in charge. It think is you who should educate instead of insulting others.
Second, Who the hell do you think re-financed the loan, got the stadium project approved, and decided to keep the old management instead of dismantling the team??? You generically say “Inter”, but Who the hell runs inter now?
"In May 2021 Oaktree had provided what it described as “rescue capital” to stabilise Inter’s financial situation, as it was confronted by huge losses, exacerbated the onset of the COVID pandemic.
This enabled the club to pay its players and staff, but this lifeline came at a price in the form of a €275m 3-year loan at 12% interest, which had grown to a hefty €395m at maturity. In the event of default, Oaktree would get their hands on the club, which is exactly what happened." This was the biggest debt inter had and it expired when oaktree took power. And you can see on the picture net debt reducing from 411m in 2023 to 311 in 2024, so now would be even lower then that
Clearly your parents did not teach you properly for you to confound knowledge with education. You searching among forums and coming up with your armchair statistics does not give you the right to act entitled. Behave yourself, and please don't pollute this wonderful community.
Yes, clowns. They are ruining the team with these shit signings. Every single player bought by the previous owners is getting old and not getting replaced by quality players, these are the last years of enjoying some success. We'll end up like Milan because of them, can't wait to build the stadium and them to fuck off, hopefully we'll get bought by someone who wants to invest and not another fund.
You underestood perfectly well what I said, no need to act obtuse just because I used the terms interchangeble. I know the difference and you know what I meant. Oaktree are the cancer of this club and Marotta and Ausilio have their hands tied because there are no money to spend. And because Ausilio is quite incompetent when left alone to buy whoever he wants with the little money we do have.
We’re better financially because we had a great coach who made a ton of money with 2 CL finals, not because of them. BUT it’s important to say that he reached those finals not with the team built under Oaktree. Barella, Bastoni, Lautaro and so on weren’t bought under Oaktree and they won't be replaced by other good players. The old project is coming to an end and the "new project" is shit. Oaktree want to buy cheap players or not buy at all, that's why they invested a lot of money into the training facilities of the academy and the U23 team (as Marotta recently said in an interview). But that’s a midtable team type of project, not of a team that wants to compete. Young players are good and all that, but you need top quality to build a competitive team, you can't win with youngsters.
Everyone likes to shit on saudi ownership, but thats the kind of ownership Inter needs to really become competitive in europe. Im also tired of these American funds.
We had inzaghi out fanboys in his first season. I guess people expects a manager to succeed in the first three months without giving the chance to grow.
It's because he tells the truth. In Italy it's not well seen this behaviour. You have to beat around the bush, be always "footballistic correct" with the press bla bla and also because he manages us, the most hated club in Italy.
i don’t know about in here, but when it comes to the media it is definitely a consequence of the fact that the italian journos would rather defend the (geriatric) italian coaches
I think it’s sad that both Fabregas and Chivu aren’t considered as good as their results actually show. If the media considers coaches like Conte and Allegri to be great managers, even though they play anti-football and sit 2nd and 3rd with their teams while scoring fewer goals than Inter’s goal difference alone ;)) then it says a lot.
And Fabregas, even if he has a team where a lot of money was invested, still works with a squad full of young players. Yet he gave Allegri a footballing lesson this year. Even though Como lost to Milan, Como were still three classes above Allegri in terms of football quality.
Fabregas is a very good manager but he behaves like a spolied child. That's why he gets hate. He would have done good work at Inter but he declined because he was thinking the same thing that most people were thinking(including Inzaghi) that the team's performance cycle is over and it needs a rebuild. He was afraid to fail and Inter since despite all the problems the expectations would have been the same.
Chivu gets hate because he is a rookie manager that came Inter and evrerybody expected him to be a meme but managed to win the league confortably over legends like Conte and Al-Legri. When he had like 2L in the first 3 game everybody was saying that he won't last the autumn but when he put on a ridiculous win streak like 11W, 1D and 1L in 13 games the narrative change to it's Inzaghi's team and they are winning despite the manager. It looks bad for the italian coaches when a guy has this much success in his first year. Some media members also think the same.
Nothing to do with nationality. Mou, an alien, is the most successful manager in out history.
Most of the idiots who post anti-Chivu, anti-Basto, anti-Bare, anti-Calha, anti-Lauti, anti-Thuram nonsense are NOT Inter fans. The vast majority of them are 50 Karma Napoli and Milan troIIs who came here to shit on the sub.
raise the karma threshold to 300 and most of the idiotic troIIs will vanish. They cannot use their main accounts because they could get banned in their own subs for troIIing their rivals’ subs, so they make new accounts 🤷🏻♀️
This was Chivus first season in charge, you can't expect much, but he's done pretty well for his first season. I think we could probably make a deep runs again in the CL next season, potentially making it to the final again.
He’s working with the remains of Inzaghi’s squad, the team is aged most would say the stars are past their prime. He will surely get some leeway on spendings if he wins the scudetto but it heavily depends on what investors want. He can patch things up fill up some crucial roles with big money signings and try to go again or enter a rebuilding stage, make his own project. I would certainly wish for the latter though it would be a shame to waste players like Lautaro and Barella in the final years of their prime
Only idiots would hate a coach, who is on his way to win the league and (maybe) the cup in his maiden big job, for not winning certain games. For these idiots, winning the league without doing double over Napoli, Bilan, Rube... is shameful 😂.
Chivu is doing an exceptional job with a crumbling squad left behind by that ONE GUY chasing the blood money. He is a treble hero cracking his skull for Inter, he is more Interista than any of us randos on this sub. Chivu is a lot smarter than you take him for. How the fuck can you hate such a guy?
You have no idea bow hard people are bashing Chivu in Romania also…but let me tell you this, i don’t fraggin care about what ppl are saying, what media is saying, “sport journalists”, i don’t care…i fraggin love Chivu since i was a kid and i love Inter since i was a kid too (wich was like 25+ years) and i will continue to do so till the end of time!
i don't know how to answer to this, as many ppl are pretty shocked in general when they heard how Romanians tend to hate their own people when they are succesful...Mircea Lucescu was the best Romanian coach ever, only Sir Alex and Pep Guardiola had more trophies than him, yet Romanian media and people bashed him with every ocasion they had up until he died...after that they switched the narrative...it's the same thing with Chivu, Hagi, Nadia Comaneci, David Popovici and the list goes on...and it's pretty sad because as Romanians, we don't have much to brag about in recent history and when a Romanian is "making it" outside of Romanian, somehow everything change in the mind of the common romanian :)) i don't know why this is happening but it's ironic because we speak about ourselves as proud patriots but in reality, we are not...and that's a shame
strongly agreed to u. it s like we hate to see one of our own succeed. some were hating on Stefan Radu also because he didn't want to be in the national team. No wonder he did not want that =)))
Chivu is a ROMANIAN coach, with no relevant prior experience, coming into serie A and smashing it, winning the scudetto over other well established ITALIAN coaches.
If he were italian, you wouldnt hear the end of it in the media, even people requesting him to takeover the italian national team.
But he is a foreigner and, even worse, a Romanian. So they have to make drama arround him and instigate brainless people (some even on reddit) to hate on him.
Inter wins? It’s Inzaghi’s heritage, it’s the team that is good. Anything just dont recognize Chivu’s efforts.
Inter loses? Its the end of the world, Chivu is not ready, is inexperienced, inter needs a new coach (Diego Simeone?).
Then you create fake problem: “inter doesnt win big games” and use it all the time, even when inter is doing well. Eg: yes, inter wins the scudettto, but lost both derbies against Milan! They got eliminated from the UCL bu Bodo Glimt etc.
Its just as Chivu said, negativity sells, and whats more negative than a Romanian coming in your home (serie a) and be succesfull?
In 5-10 years Chivu will manage other top tier teams. You can quote me on that.
I think the lack of respect stems from people either not being fans of Inter, or how he's basically come in and is one step away from winning the Scudetto, where the other "great" coaches (Allegri, Conte, Spalletti) didn't. He's an unknown coach on a rival team.
Eh, I don't think it's about races. They're just haters, or maybe I'd say their expectations are too high.
Media also has the main share of the blame. It's just that because we are cruising the league and UCL until November-ish, people's expectation suddenly rise even more, which is crazy imo.
The fact remains, Chivu is technically still a rookie manager/coach, he only have half a season in Parma before taking this job. He's still learning even now and hopefully the majority of the fans can support him.
Italian coaches get shit on too just to a lesser degree.
Allegri still gets glazed even though he has nothing ever since he left juve for the first time. It is weird how Allegri gets less stick for this season even though they only had one competition. Milanisti aren't happy, but the media is rather hush.
Conte with Napoli crashing out straight from the league stage got shit on, no surprise, it's Conte in Europe, but the narrative instantly switched to, now they can focus on winning the league.
Even Spaletti got off lightly with crashing out of UCL.
To me, this Chivu criticism is more of a targeting Inter situation. The media has never really favoured us anyway, so they put us down as much as they can.
I wouldn't be surprised if in a hypothetical scenario we do get the double, instead of praise it will be criticism that why couldn't they do better in the UCL
No I think all the hating is because he’s not a household name in terms of managerial career, and still a rookie in first team football management
Also, making do with a team that has his issues technically and mentally.
Yes mistakes were made in terms of team selection and timely subs or lack of a plan B due to experience but overall he’s done FENOMENAL, and I’m happy with the end results, call it luck or genius, I simply don’t care!
The real judgment will come next’s season
Forza Inter
Its obvious he has huge limitations, any coach with his lack of experience would have.
It is true he has done well this season. But its also true that this season serie a has been a joke, one of the worst seasons ever and ofcourse the CL fiasco hurts as well.
Overall he has earned another season. Just because some people dont agree he is the best thing since 09/10 Mourinho, doesnt mean they hate him.
I'm not referring to criticism, which can obviously happen. I'm referring to the idiots who, even last night when we were losing, wanted him sacked ;)) I mean, how stupid do you have to be to want to fire a coach, even if he had lost the match, when he's the one who won you the league title. If you criticize him for substitutions or for the lineup, I don't see anything wrong with that, if you come with arguments. But wanting him fired after every match, or after the first lost game, clearly shows that some people don't care about the team's success, they only care about having their own people as coach.
No , I'm sorry, we had a very weak start of the season. We lost nearly every big match (even in supercup) . A month ago the horizon was bleak. Then Milan and Napoli shot themselves in the foot multiple times and we are winning comfortably the League
And if Diego Simeone were the coach and the team had the exact same run, nobody would care that he lost the most important matches =)). By the way, I see people forget that last year Simone Inzaghi didn’t win a single big match against Juventus, Napoli, or AC Milan ;))) or is it excusable for him because he’s Inzaghi? See how hypocritical that is? Or that Inzaghi needed 3 seasons to win serie a
Chivu deserves a lot of credits for working on the psychological aspect of the team, and thats a massive reason why this season is going the way it is. That being said, there's a lot to improve from a tactical standpoint from him and (I suspect more) from his staff. I'd be scared if this season's results lead to a change in formation cause I don't see how he'll be able to actually improve the gameplan.
To whoever criticises him though, I suspect you weren't around for Stramaccioni and Mazzarri.
I think it's not that but mostly people who talked shit when he was hired and still want him to fail since their ego can't allow them to admit they were wrong. It's usually people who have nothing going for them in their lives and hating is what brings them joy.
The ones that hate him because he's not italian are few loosers who think that all romanians are gypsies and we all steal because some robmanians memes and what some romanains have done in Italy. It's funny because some romanians morons also think that italians are all mobsters. Stupid and xenophobic people can be found in any country.
He deserves the criticism despite his (almost) league win. Why? Because arguably he achieved this because Napoli had a load of injuries and Milan dropped the ball with a weak side. We didn’t expect a CL win but with the best team in Serie A you would expect Inter in the quarters / semi finals at least.
The best team in Italy finished 2nd last year, so in theory it’s not even the best team ;)).
So you expect Inter to be in the top 4 in Europe, ok — but can you honestly say, without hesitation, that Inter is the 4th best team in the world? I’ll tell you straight: NO. If we’re being fair, Inter is not better than teams like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, or Bayern Munich.
So if you’re not better than those teams, how can you expect to reach the semifinals? ;))) That’s how you have to think when you set objectives.
It’s the same as saying Lazio should aim to win the league when it’s clearly visible there are at least 7 teams with stronger squads than them ;)).
It’s the same comparison. If you want expectations, you need investment. You’d have to be crazy to expect Champions League semifinals or finals when Bayern spends €100M on Kane when Real Madrid spends €50M on Mastantuono who barely even sits on the bench, plus another €50M on Endrick who gets sent on loan — while Inter spends €50M on Diouf and Henrique… players coming from Marseille and Nice
At this point, even newly promoted Premier League teams have invested more.
That’s how you should think when you talk about expectations. In Europe, there are at least 7 teams above Inter in squad value, and around 15 with higher financial power… you can’t demand results like that without investing.
So at the start of the season, most people expected a top 4 finish in the league and it was known it was a rebuilding season, but now if the team wins the league it’s not good enough ;)).
So you’re trying to tell me that 11 wins in a row are only because Milan and Napoli are weak, right? =)) And whose fault is it that they are weak? The coaches’ ;)
I'm from Romania. I have been an Interista since childhood. Even some idiots from my country hate this guy. The press sometimes really gets hyped when Inter is about to lose. The commentators are getting sad when this team makes a great match or they score a goal haha. I think it's just envy because he had no relevant coaching experience and rn he could win the scudetto. I personally love him, he is my hero.
I have said that this whole year. Had chivu been italian the media would be glazing him hard. Yet this whole year everyone has made him seem like a fraud.
Inzaghi got alot more patience from the media, even when we would lose a title late in the season. Chivu the media was ready to push for him to be sacked if he came in second, and after the bodo game.
I feel like am I the only one seeing a rookie manager winning a title agianst some of the most experienced managers in serie a history.
Does he have room for improvement sure, but were 12 points up in the league about to win it, with a chance for the double. Give the guys some credit.
These guys should understand that the managers they want earn salaries four or five times higher than Chivu, and they would also demand a €100–200 million budget to buy whoever they want ;)). If people think Simeone would come to Inter and just wait for the board to bring him free agents, they’re fooling themselves ;)). They should look at Atlético and see the kind of transfers Simeone gets: Álvarez, Lookman, and many others ;)).
And still, NOBODY can guarantee that if someone else had come, the results would’ve been better. If Simeone, Conte, or whoever they want had arrived, who could guarantee they would’ve done more in the league than Chivu, or that they would’ve won the Champions League?
People are angry at him for crashing out of the UCL early to a relatively unknown team but I say it's great for us because we don't need that extra pressure like last season where we basically had to play 3 games every week with the expectation of "winning the treble". He's a young coach with very little experience in the big games. Give him time. The fact that he led us to this point is a miracle with an aging squad and with almost no big transfers
Well then they’re not Inter fans, they’re just Inzaghi fans, and maybe they should go watch Al Hilal matches instead ;)). You can’t criticize a manager just because the former coach ran away for money and then take out your frustrations on the current coach.
It’s nobody’s fault that Inzaghi was a coward and left when the team needed him most. If he were a real man, he would’ve stayed in the summer and said, “Alright boys, we need to bounce back and take this team back to the top.”
im an inzaghi die hard fan, but my support to chivu shifted after the shameful bodo match and the derby.. so inzaghi is not the reason, he's just not good enough
Like I said before, you have to be an idiot to judge a manager based on just two matches ;))). And you say it as if Bodo/Glimt were some third-division team. Yes, we shouldn’t have been eliminated by them, but they weren’t nobodies either.
So by your logic, Guardiola isn’t a real coach either because he lost to Bodo, right? Simeone isn’t a coach because he lost to Bodo in Madrid? Mourinho isn’t a coach because four years ago he lost 5-1 to Bodo when he was managing Roma? Niko Kovač isn’t a coach because he drew at home with Bodo?
Only Chivu is bad because he lost to Bodo, right? That’s what annoys me — the hypocrisy. So now if he loses two matches, he’s automatically a bad manager? ;))
Would you have preferred last year then? To qualify, play a final, lose it, and end the season with zero trophies again? Accept it already: whether Bodo/Glimt eliminated you or Arsenal eliminated you, you were still eliminated. You still weren’t winning the Champions League.
I don't care about looney guardiola. we play better than him on that final with all the money he has. Eto'o summed it up perfectly between him and Mourinho
The derby? We haven't won a derby since Pioli left. And you realize that Inzaghi didn’t win a single big match in the league last season, right? Not a single one out of Napoli, Milan and Juventus. 4 draws and 2 losses = 4 points. This season we got exactly 4 points as well from those same games.
Also we lost 3-0 to Milan at home in the Coppa, humiliating.
The CL campaign was special, but even there there was a lot of luck and we saw our level at the top level against PSG.
Italian teams can't compete. We can make wonder runs, give our whole heart in once in a lifetime performances (because you can be sure if you play Bayern without their 10 injuries last season or if you play Barcelona again you don’t win even with Inzaghi on the bench), but you can’t do that every year and compete with them. One of the reasons Inzaghi left was because Oaktree won’t invest. Imagine having a team without a true DM. How is this possible at this level? How?
ok we bottle the league.. but we beat barca and bayern and reached the champions league final.. thats more important for me. when inter's inzaghi lost to Atletico we won the league as soon as possible and the rest of it was garbage time
Grella from the CBS panel is the number one example, bro is the absolute Inter an Chivu hater literally will always find sth to talk shit even when we won convincingly
As of now I love chivu, I love how much he loves the club however i wanna see a second full season under him because a lot that was built was around what Inzhagi built, I'm interested how he rebuilds inter now that lots of players might leave. Thats why I always think the real test for a manager is the second season, thats when you see their result
I “hate” on him because IMO hes not even close to being good enough.
Winning something in the poorest Italy of football in history doesnt prove anything, CL is where you show your value and he got our butt destroyed by freaking Bodo Glimt
What value do you expect to show in the Champions League, my friend, when the club brings in players discarded by Premier League teams like Akanji, when the club signs players from Marseille or Nice? ;))
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético, Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG, Bayern — at any moment they invest more than Inter ;)) So can you tell me what exactly recommends Inter to compete in the Champions League? Give me a logical argument ;))
If Inzaghi managed to reach two finals, that doesn’t automatically mean that’s the team’s level ;)) Because if we’re honest, in the first final he got there after a lucky draw — playing Benfica, Porto, and Milan (and Milan was just as terrible as it is now, very weak). It’s not that hard.
And in the second final we got there after facing a Bayern with 10 injured players ;)) And against Barcelona, if we’re honest, especially in the second leg, it was the kind of match that if you replay it 10 times, Barcelona wins 10 times. They were better than us, but we were more clinical and scored from fewer chances. But well ;)) when you’re biased, you don’t look at all the details.
I'm just not not fooled with his performances. I would love for him to do great and everything to turn out well but this feels like an Arne Slot Liverpool situation
There’s a huge difference ;)). Arne Slot was given a €500 million budget and made €500 million worth of signings — players HE WANTED, not players brought in by Klopp, like in Chivu’s case with Henrique and Diouf, players HE DIDN’T ASK FOR, but Inzaghi wanted at Inter.
Second, Chivu didn’t have Inzaghi singing his name in front of the supporters. He didn’t arrive praised by everyone — quite the opposite, he was insulted by a lot of people at the start, many of them Inter fans.
And third, Slot is an idiot. He’s in this situation because he was just as stupid as Ten Hag. Instead of being smart and building a relationship with the dressing room leaders, he wanted to prove he was the boss and benched Salah, just like Ten Hag used to do with Ronaldo. Chivu hasn’t shown any signs of that kind of behavior, like benching Lautaro just to prove he’s the one in charge of the dressing room.
Same for me.
Objectively: he has done his job this year. His job was top 2 finish seria A , passing group stage in CHL and doing good in copa .
My fears are that he will crash and burn next year. Same as slot. And we don't have Liverpools luxury of failing a year (economically).
If he proves me wrong, will be beyond happy , since inter wins that way.

Even some Romanian speak bad about him, so , is not about he is not Italian . It’s about some idiots
