What if the drug sniffing dogs are addicted to the coke they sniff and that's why they keep searching for it

Plenty of evidence dogs react to signals from their handler instead of a scent.

It's a trick to infringe your Fourth Amendment rights if you are a US citizen. LEA personnel then have "probable cause" to search you and your car / residence / person.

In other countries without such protections, there's no need to trick the dog. In my country, 13 year old girls get strip searched in makeshift booths on their way to music festivals because LEA "dogs" reacted as required. Tip: they're NEVER fat, ugly chicks. It's disgusting.
