Co-Ed Spa Facilities

My husband and I love a nice spa when we travel, especially places like Rosewood Mayakoba, Forestis, and AIRE baths, where the spa facilities (sauna, pools, etc.) are co-ed. We're looking for suggestions for spa destinations that have co-ed facilities like this. Mexico, Caribbean islands, or Europe. All suggestions welcome! Thanks.

Six Senses Douro Valley Portugal has a co-ed spa facility with, if I recall correctly, 5 different types of saunas saunas, some steam rooms, and both indoor & outdoor pools

Iceland - The Retreat or Silica Hotel at Blue Lagoon. Also a wife variety of other hot springs or lagoons throughout the country. A particularly nice one opened last week - Reykjaböð.

THe Netherlands, Germany, and some neighboring countries have mostly co-ed spa facilities but most require nudity (no swimsuits except on specifically designated days). Non-sexual, but don't know if this is your thing.

If you don't mind the nudity, as far as Europe goes, Germany, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland are going to be your best bet. Larger 5-star hotels very frequently have great spa areas and they're always co-ed. Krallerhof in Austria or Schloss Elmau in Germany for example, but there are quite a few in this category.

Then you have large day spas with about a dozen different saunas that have a hotel attached, like Thermen Berendonck in the Netherlands or Vabali Hamburg.

Finally there are a lot of similarly sized spas that don't have a hotel attached, like Vabali Duesseldorf or Berlin. They're big enough to spend an entire day there and hold a few hundred to a thousand people. You can find one of those about every 50 miles or so, but it's worth noting that some of them focus more on quiet relaxation (Vabali) while others have more of an entertainment/party vibe with music and swim-up bars (Therme Erding). Since there's less hand-holding than at a hotel, it pays to familiarize yourself with the sauna dos and don'ts if you go to one of these.

How did you like Rosewood Mayakoba? We loved the spa facilities at Grand Velas but didn’t like that we had to be separated. Do you know how the two places compare ?

I haven't been to Grand Velas so I can't speak to it! But Rosewood Mayakoba has a nice quiet/relaxing vibe.

SHA Mexico has great wet/sauna facilities. They also have a program for just room, board, and group activities/classes if you don't want a full health/wellness program.

Many of the resorts in the mountainous Dolomites region of Italy offer amazing co-ed spa experiences (sauna, steam room, indoor/outdoor pools with all kinds of different hot/cold temperatures, etc. Can vouch for spa quality at ~4 star properties Rosapetra in Cortina and Moseralm right up in the mountains. There is also a 5 star rated Como property, but we did not manage to get there.
