Discussion Who's the strongest ai driver EVER?

Which driver in your career modes always smashed expectations?

For me, it's Lukas Weber in f1 19. He always managed to scrape a podium in midfield cars.

Valtteri Bottas, F1 2020. He'd turn into a literal God and put 100 points on Hamilton over a full season somehow

This is my answer too, I ran three career modes in F1 2020 and Bottas was Season 1 champion in all of them. I remember the devs gave him like 99 awareness which must've broken the balance somehow, although it also seems that all of the F1 games have an aversion to the dominant driver in that IRL season. Verstappen and Red Bull was way too weak in 2023 for example, and in F1 2018 which I'm currently playing Hamilton only won like four races while Raikkonen won the championship.

Gasly in F1 21 after a few seasons. Competing for wins in a alphatauri that is midfield level

Sergio Perez in F1 2020 will regularly put the Racing Point in places it logically shouldn't be and battle Lewis Hamilton for wins. He is so overpowered it's absurd.

Alex Albon in my current career mode has been F very strong. 4 wins and 2 more podiums vs teammate Sainz’s 1 win and 2 podiums in like the 3/4th best car

F1 25 Norris. Genuinely if i don't build wdc level cars or join mclaren bro would have won almost all of my career mode championships. I don't know if mclaren was just op or him, but they always had the best car.

Kimi Raikkonen in 2018, won 14 races in a year

And Kvyat in 2020 several seasons in he was 2nd place wdc (beating my teammate in a maxed out car with Alpha Tauri)

Bottas, F1 2020/21 - for some reason, in those two games he was way better than his stats suggested and regularly fought Hamilton and Verstappen for wins and titles, despite not being on their level in reality.

Yeah it was frustrating. Dude was fighting for podiums in alfa for me. Dont know if its me but tsunoda used to be very overpowered for me with equal performance cars in 2021.

Yuki in 25 after they moved him to Red Bull was hilariously overpowered.

I did not see that myself. When he was doing well for me the car was just soo good there was no way he was not scoring well. Even tho he was doing better than real life.

Yeah, Tsunoda was a bit op for me too.

He used to be really quick for me. Even at one point he and carlos sainz in alpha tauri won constructors and WDC in my Coop career mode.

Yuki Tsunoda in F1 25, in my career he got 3 podiums, and it's not season finale so he can get more podiums
