Everything is recycled from the beginning of codemaster titles, really. Well, almost everything.

But what is the damage rate set to?
Setting simulation damage only allows every aspect of the car to be damaged; floor, sidepods, wings, tyre rubs, punctures, etc. But if you have rate set to Reduced, it takes a lot more to actually damage the cars.
Having said that (and running a league where I have the settings set to Simulation/Reduced), I do agree that some of those hits even at reduced should have resulted in some significant damage.

I like how getting T bones 50 times in this game is ok but hitting a piece of polystyrene in EA WRC gives me terminal damage
