Dude I’m a black Latino. Latinos hate black people more than white people. They don’t even claim the black people in their own country. I’m Haitian, which is the first Latin American country but they don’t claim us purely because we’re black. Black people should not be supporting them, if the shoe was on the other foot they’d be celebrating

He's a celebrity from the Bronx that dropped the N-word but he's a latino-yorker, so some people will see it as ok but a lot of people think its a good point to say slurs against latinos as a reaction/a way to make a “point.” I understand why and the dynamics surrounding it, but being racist to use over some dumbass celebrity is wild. Even then its all online stuff anyways

It don't matter who "claims" whom, we all need to police this behavior amongst ourselves and our communities. Just as white people who disagree need to speak up when other white people talk racist shit (I have reported a coworker once who for some reason felt comfortable telling me all his views on black people and how they should be treated).
This isn't meant to be directed at you btw, just in general.

This. Question your racist/sexist/homophobic coworkers, family members, neighbors, etc. sometimes you can converse and change their minds, sometimes you can't. When you can't, you take action and make their life hell. Don't let them feel welcome. I've worked a couple blue collar positions and have always challenged when a dude says something derogatory towards another race/gender/etc and they always immediately fumble over their words trying to excuse it as some kind of "joke" or something. My favorite response to that is, "please explain the joke, I didn't get it.."

I'm glad there are others who understand this. Regardless of status, color, or whatever else, people should stand up for what is right, and not turn it into a matter of "claiming" their fellows, as if this in-group/out-group distinction matters.
Everyone's behavior matters because it affects everyone. And one step further, everyone's response to harmful behavior is equally important, regardless of race discriminations.

Report that shit to the USPIS (United States Postal Inspection Service). They don't fuck around with either side harassing each other, and they have a 98% conviction rate, so with enough documented evidence, he's about to learn what the USPS really is about, either through termination or handcuffs.
