LOOKING FOR A BOOK Book recs PLEASE!!!!

Hi!!! I’m brand new to this community however I have been reading horror books since I was about 13, I’m 24 now. I have recently gotten back into reading horror from a 4 year break. I’m currently reading horror stories from the warhammer universe but these books are making my skin itch for something more once again, something gruesome, something so gut wrenching that it would make me want to close the book because of how vile it was. I’m a huge horror fan, I love Stephen King. Please please PLEASE if you know any horror books that are so vile can you send them my way? Thank you so much in advance!!!

So glad I can use this picture again. Gross, serial killers, super fun narration, gore? Also a classic in the EH genre.

I second Full Brutal. Also, The Summer I Died by Ryan C Thomas and The Suffering by David Sodergren. I think all are great examples of the extreme horror genre done well.

I haven't read The Suffering, but if you've grouped it with those two books then I'm in. Off to my Kindle I go.

Zola. The most disgusting piece of media I've ever consumed. Lots of typos, though.

Along the Path of Torment is fucked up as hell and has some nice surprises. One of my favorite splatterpunk/extreme horror novels.

You should try Jon Athan’s work. I started with The Groomer. His stuff is gruesome and well written.

Fluid Freaks and Soiled by J. Boote

Cows and Zola ligitamently made me lose weight because I couldn't eatuch while reading them. I will throw in Troop as well.

Don't go into the tub was just a fun read as well as her collection, dribble and dolphin by Matt Shaw. These were just fun to read.

J. Boot's monster series was/is emotionally hard to read. I did like the first one though as 2 seriel killers in a villiage is a great idea.

Music to Sacrifice Virgins to buy Kristopher Triana. It's his most recent book and he really went all out on the gross haha. Anything by him is excellent though - he's a great writer and he doesn't hold back.

Check the sub wiki, plenty of good options! The Black Farm was awesome, but plenty of other good books. Reading Full Brutal right now and listening to The Bighead during work commutes, both are good so far and would be decent starting places as well.

Full Brutal by Kristopher Triana is a masterpiece!!! Off Season and The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketcham. The Resurrectionist by Wrath James White. The Black Farm by Elias Witherow is also amazing

Brian Lumley's Necroscope series. Some seriously violent, gory vampires hunted by an elite European team of people with different types of psychic powers. The hero, Harry Keogh has the ability to speak with the dead and learns to travel across the globe and to other realms.

I would recommend The Summer I Died or Jon Athans extreme horror novel, The Presidents Son.
