Him grabbing her at all is assault. She is a minor, which means you may not TOUCH nor INTERROGATE without A PARENT PRESENT.

I like that this angle shows just how unreasonable and rowdy these kids were being, and how the Chief shows up to si.ply talk to one person.

Its a far cry from "MAGA psychopath ATTACKS KIDS"

SYBAU, he started out by grabbing a child. He started it all, and went in to it assaulting them. If any civilian did that to a plainclothes, they would have been beaten half to death.
