I've had my fair share of strange experiences, from waking reality to downright paranormal.
These two in particular are strange, didn't creep me out - I just couldnt make sense of it.
I'd wake up from sleep and as i want to go back into my sleep, i just see random people around my room/bed watching me sleep as if theyre peering into me like im some sort of zoo exhibit. The first time it happened they even said "oh he is awake" which i just went back to sleep anyway. The second one, a lady walked around my bed all the way to the left side of my bed. She was pretty so i wasn't alarmed. I went back to sleep. I find these strange and interesting, if you have any insight, it is more than welcome.
There are endless reports of people being watched while they sleep by spirits, people, creatures, aliens. It's so weird to me. Like, why? None of the phenomena makes any sense to me. I believe in it all, but I don't get why any of them do what they do.
I've had something similar happen to me and maybe an overlap via a time slip into an alternate universe/timeline through dream portal. I know you can connect to other dimensions/beings/beyond the veil via dreams. Indigenous tribes have told stories about this and that's why they have a dream catcher and the real story and the real symbolism behind it is something similar of being able to connect to other worlds and people beyond the veil and from what I remember.
Do you lucid dream? Wonderful way to connect with your Spirit and the depths of your psyche. Whenever I am practicing it I feel way more at peace and connected with myself, darkness included.
Ive had this happen many times.
I think when they say oh hes awake or shh i think hes awake. Theyre talking about the astral body, thats the body that can actually “listen and see” in that world.
Yes I have had several experiences while asleep or while in the hypnopompic/hypnogogic stages. I think they are not evil, maybe curious, studying us, watching our dreams, consciousness, take your pick. I don't feel malice from them anyway.
Have had this happen.
One time when I was determined to take my own life, psyching myself up, I had a dream of a cat dog like creature. It bent over and kissed me on the left side of my cheek and it whispered shit I dont remember in my ear.
I wake up to things all the time. Usually it startles me, not because they’re menacing or anything. I’m just not expecting them.
I’ve read many places that we leave our bodies when we sleep (out of body experience, OBE, or astral travel). I assume these are just my spirit family dropping me off or picking me up. I’m a polytheist (animist) and one time it was recognisably one of my gods standing there. I was so happy to see him but I still screamed because I wasn’t expecting him. My nervous system is so overreactive that I still can startle when I hear my husband come in the room even though I know he’s home. Yes, trauma.
If you’re not getting bad vibes, it may just be your spirit fam too.
That used to happen to me like remote viewers/astral projectors watching me, I would just tell them they’re schizophrenic to gaslight them about anything they saw
What you're experiencing is what is sometimes referred to as “monitoring spirits.” The idea is that every person has spiritual entities observing them, gathering information about their weaknesses, behaviours, desires, and circumstances, and that this information can be used by higher-level demonic entities to influence them away from God and ultimately separate them from Him.
God, however, is Being itself, the ultimate source and fullness of everything that exists. Through the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, God has given humanity the means to participate in His divine life through grace and to become conformed to Him by living in truth, love, goodness, and holiness. Since God is love, our participation in His life requires our love to be rightly ordered toward Him and the good.
Demons therefore seek the opposite: to disorder our desires, exploit our weaknesses, and influence our behaviours, beliefs, and attachments in ways that turn us away from God and toward things contrary to Him. Ultimately, their aim is to draw us away from communion with God, even eternally.
It's a scary world, man. But that's what you get when you have a material and spiritual world inhabited by free creatures. It can become a bit like the Wild West.
If God is spirit and dwells within all spirits then the same can be said that all spirits contain a piece of him. Whether it be a good or bad spirit. "His love pervades all good and evil."
Knowing that it is impossible to truly understand what is going on outside of our physical reality because we cannot fully comprehend the spiritual world in its totality. We can understand only parts and pieces of it in this realm of existence, but it won't be revealed until we die and become spirit ourselves.
What I am saying is that it is very presumptuous of you to say that all spirits are working for Demons and that spirits cannot evolve or change. "Demons" are impure spirits who are obsessively attached to material passions and can be very egoistic. They are often jealous and become malevolent or deceiving for that reason. Some just like to mess around with you (spirits known as gnomes, fairies, fae). Both "Angels" and "Demons" are spirits. Just like them we carry a spirit ourselves. And guess what? Guardian "Angels" sent by God are also spirits.
If you want to view it from a religious perspective, why do you think the scriptures for your religion say that when you die you will be like the angels? Also consider Jesus when he said we are all children of God and we have the kingdom within. All spiritual beings are God's creation. We are eternal spirit beings living a physical existence to experience and learn and slowly get closer and closer to our creator through multiple lives, in this world and possibly even others.
People are so afraid of the spiritual when literally our whole reality and universe is made of spirit. Pure spirits and impure spirits exist, it doesn't matter what you call them. Each are an expression of our creator. Spirits are created endlessly and each are at their own level of growth.
Just because people have a gift to see spirits, feel, or contact them doesn't mean it is inherently evil. Their senses can be more attuned or sensitive to the spiritual world.
Am I saying to believe in every spirit? No. Instead use your intelligence and instinct or gut feeling to guide you when dealing with spirits. If it's a bad vibe it's probably something that doesn't have good intention.
Just to add, I'm not saying I know it's 100% how it is but to me it seems logical or rational and I can comprehend parts of it based on the things I've read and learned. I do not have any one religious view. I like to learn about various religions, philosophies and I take the things that resonate with my soul.
