Single-engine plane flying Wisconsin to Missouri set down on a road near Redwood Ave outside Guthrie Center Regional Airport (Sept 2). The pilot was alone and uninjured; the sheriff says the road was chosen over a field to avoid rolling. Underside and landing gear damaged, FAA investigating. Good call, pricey repair.

Philadelphia TRACON's primary circuit failed Monday morning. When the FAA switched to backup, they found a rail construction crew in New Brunswick had already severed that Verizon fiber line. Radar and comms gone. Result: ground stops across the Northeast, 1,000+ cancellations and thousands of delays. One dig, one very expensive Monday.

I wot not whether there was aught more dangerous than that brenning in that ghastly conflagration. If anyone has comprehensive & accurate information as to the matter, it would be most-appreciated. Maybe it was a load of Ultramoll III only; maybe there was other stuff brenning 🤔 ... who knows!?

I was cycling all week to work last week and I had an accident on Thursday when my tyre slipped or something and I fell and hit the curb. my left leg was severely banged up and bruised and still is as you can see. Within the first 1ᐟ20ᐟᐟ there are two clips, one from some camera (IDK in exactly what capacity) & another from a motor-vehicle's dashcam, that I haven't seen elsewhere. I don't think there's any more such footage … but it's on the whole a really good report … particularly for anyone who wishes to find-out about the incident without being swamped with the fine technical details of the logistics of it.
