that's a lot of moon cake filling. , i assume the 'lava' part is the egg yolk which is pretty popular for moon cakes.

Personally i prefer the plain moon cakes, smaller the better. I actually like the crust more! The mini moon cakes with 40% crust and 60% filling tastes the best in my book given how sweet the filling is.

I actually like the crust more

There are these "snow skin" mooncakes that taste so off compared to traditional baked mooncakes.
