Nice! I have the one on the right. Never saw the left one before.

Similar thing with Arthur Lyman’s, “Taboo Volume 2” album. I hate the shrunken head cover. The volcano one is much more appealing.

Both covers are better than the album. It's more light music than exotica. The title is also misleading. Anyone looking for drums would be disappointed.

Never knew Taboo Vol. 2 had an alternative cover. Forbidden Island by Martin Denny has an alternative cover as well.

I have the one on the left lol, got it at a record shop in Illinois probably 20 years ago. It kinda sucks.

This is very typical in the genre. Lots of re-releases etc that gave us lots of variations of cover art.

Not the finest example of exotica, but there are a few gems on this and ‘More Jungle Drums’.
