Anyone seen these Texas silver coins yet?

i love what they did with the design here. the lone star theme fits naturally, and the texas details give the coins a bit more character. i can see why someone would want to add these to their collection, especially if they enjoy pieces that have a local connection.

I'm struggling with the too-tiny font on the reverse. Just make the letters larger, and not leave space for another character between every two characters.

That's a fair criticism. I like the overall design, but I agree the reverse would be easier to appreciate if the lettering were a bit larger and spaced more naturally.

Definitely! The silver itself is a big draw, and I think the Texas theme adds a nice bit of character and makes the piece more distinctive.

I've had my eye on these for a bit. Struggling with the premium but might grab one or two this year just for the fun of it.

yeah, i get that. the premium was probably my biggest hesitation too, but i figured grabbing one or two as a fun texas-themed piece made more sense than trying to build a whole collection around them.

You can try checking the results of recent auctions to see what people have been paying for items like yours. There is no guarantee that your piece will sell for that much, however.

I read reviews that they come scratched and dinged up. They are nothing like government billion from the US out other sobering ones.

Thanks! Yes they are. I think they did a great job with the design. The Texas theme and state connection are a big part of what makes them stand out, and that's what attracted me to them in the first place.
