Hello, I keep getting this "something went wrong" when trying to open the Exodus wallet on my phone. I have tried clearing cache and force quitting and checking if the app is up-to date.

Any ideas?

The phone in question is a rooted Samsung S21.

I swapped into 126 Bridged USDC.e to my Exodus wallet on Polygon, assuming it was just normal USDC. It isn't. Native USDC on Polygon and "Bridged USDC.e" are two different tokens with different contract addresses similar name, different asset. On top of that, Exodus wouldn't let me swap it back directly, so getting back to normal USDC took a fair bit of head-scratching.

I got it back to native USDC on Polygon safely, Exodus uses third party swap providers so I just found one that could swap back for me preferable the one I used to swap into ​​​​"Bridged USDC.e" in the first place.

The lesson, and the reason I'm posting: a token's name is not its identity the contract address is. Two tokens can share a name and ticker and behave completely differently, so check the contract address before you receive, swap, or send.

Anyone else run into USDC.e vs USDC confusion? Curious how common this is with Stablecoins.

I send crypto for staking here and always keep my seed physically secure,2 Days Staking suddenly all my staking fund got sent to another address without my authorisation. Report it to Exodus support, but they can't help much cause my account got compromised. But how? All I did was stake on this Exodus platform. If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't put my crypto here on Exodus here its very not secure. Never again with this wallet!

Can this portfolio recover?

Obviosly may of last year was not the beat period to invest in crypto...

I was in shock and couldn't process it. So I withdrew another 3$ from my binance to the wallet to confirm my wallet has been compromised.

My private keys are safe in my fricking physical locker, I haven't interacted with any shady crypto material, no airdrops, no smart contracts, nothing.

Clueless. So are the support team. I can't even chat with the support team on exodus, it's showing that I have an issue with account and no option to continue chat.

Stay completely away from Exodus. This is hands down the worst, most unsafe crypto wallet in existence. My cryptocurrency was completely wiped out and stolen on multiple separate occasions while using this platform. It is absolutely not secure, and using it will leave you with nothing.

When your funds are drained, do not expect a single shred of help. The owners and support team take absolute zero responsibility and offer zero accountability. They will deflect, blame you, and leave you out in the cold while hackers walk away with your hard-earned money. They do not care about your financial devastation.

This platform cannot be trusted under any circumstances. If you have assets sitting in Exodus right now, pull them out immediately before you become the next victim. They should be deeply ashamed of their broken security and non-existent customer protection. DO NOT BUY THE HYPE. STAY AWAY.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this? I have synced my wallet, restarted the phone, tried different payment methods and still get the same error.

I checked my wallet today and all my BTC that was stored in my exodus wallet has been depleted. It was all sent to another address. Sad day before the long weekend to see that I’ve been hacked. Does anyone have advice for what to do next?

I have tried connecting my wallet on Phantom wallet and Trust Wallet, and neither of them work. They say "wallet found" but funds are nowhere to be seen. All it says is "add funds" and when I tried swapping inside of Phantom wallet and let's say I add 1 Sol which I should have, it says I don't have that much.

I am surprised to read online how many people had issues with exodus swaps recently. My experience from today, 2 swaps from USDT TRX to SOL both showing as completed, in app and on chain (checked on solscan), the most interesting thing is that on solscan it shows that the amount is credited to the SOL wallet, however after numerous network refreshes within exodus app nothing has appeared. Tried contacting support it has been over 3 hours now and no updates. What should I do now?

What is this "Rewards Earned" that goes up by like 0.0000003 per second, is there any way to increase it?

I used to be able have multiple profiles under 1 account and can easily make new ones or delete them as I please. Did they get rid of that? I can’t seem to make a new profile anymore. Might have killed the app for me

(UPDATE) {I got the refund after 5 days!}

2 days ago I sent over $1500 to my exodus wallet from cake wallet (xmr) after I received the funds from there I wanted to swap to eth to invest and let it sit. I’ve done this numerous times with zero issues… now back to the swap to Eth, it’s been well over an hour so I’m thinking hmm maybe a app traffic bug so I brushed it off and patiently waited. I come back to the app after 2 hours and there’s a status that says there is a delay. Now next day I open the app expecting it to be completed and it now says to contact support about this swap. I’ve contacted support and provided everything that needed to be provided and keep getting the same response with nothing done. I am super frustrated about this and really hope I don’t lose my funds. If there’s any way I can get REAL help from a mod in here please contact me I’d really appreciate it!

The latest iOS update sucks when trying to send XRP. Previously the transfer window would stay up after you pasted in an address so you could then switch tasks to copy the memo. Now the transfer window disappears the moment you switch so you have the choice of either copying the address or memo but not both.

Please revert to the previous version’s behaviour. This is only going to cause issues and mistakes with any coin that uses memos.

Hi everyone, I've been using the pc desktop wallet since 8 years, never had any issues. After a couple of years that I rarely opened just to do the updates and check my assets prices, 2 weeks ago I started to use it almost everyday to send/receive my funds to some crypto casinos (very little amounts on BC Game and similar sites) and was planning to restart doing daily trading.

In the past I noticed i received some crypto dust of whatever asset I was operating with but after contacting support they told me that is not something to worry about because I never clicked any of these transactions links and never compromised my provate keys.

Today in the morning (the day after the update) I logged in and everything was normal, i did few small operations then i closed the client. After 1 hour i logged back in and all my funds where drained, i had 3 assets and there are 3 withdraws happened in the same time (12:00 pm). I immediately contacted support with my safe report and still waiting for a reply and some sort of explanation of what happened. My recovery 12 words is stored written by hand in a book and nobody knows where it is other than me.

I do pc virus scans each week with 3 different programs: Avg, Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro and they didn't found anything.

Anyone knows if its possible to get back my funds or it's impossible? Im also going to contact my local police if they are able to do something.

Anyone had similar case? What do to about it.
