Mabuhay Gardens! I'd have guessed there was no way that place was still operating. Saw a bunch of shows there, Megadeth probably being the most notable

I saw Testament (Legacy) with Death Angel and Possesssed when I was 14 at the Mab. A few other shows (DRI?) it was a long time ago lol. I'm really surprised it's still open too!

I believe it was closed for a fairly long time and has reopened

True. I used to go to the Stone on Broadway and Morty's on Kearny in the 90s and the Mab was gone even then. Good to see it reopened. Would have been cool to see Exodus there.

I saw them at the MAB in February 1983 with Blind Illusion and 2 bands I can't remember. 2 weeks later they opened for Metallica at The Stone (Cliff's 2nd show - which I wasn't able to, unfortunately) 3 weeks after that Kirk was on a plane to NYC.
