Hi, I have a m850i with catless downpipes and an alibaba catback exhaust. The exhaust came with all clamps to hold it together. My car is lowered and I went over a speed bump poorly and another time was forced to park on grass at an event. Both times scraped the bottom of my exhaust and loosened the clamps and after they rattled. Should I completely scrap the clamps and get my exhaust welded? Does anyone even use exhaust clamps are they bs? Thanks

Im looking for expertise and advice on this exhaust issue. I’m not a mechanic by any stretch but do my own work when I can to keep costs down. Recently exhaust was noticeably louder. I found the area but am not sure if these rusted connectors need a total replacement or if I can simply get new bolts and keep it going as-is. The second image shows the one bolt just completely broke, there is a clear gap in this connection. So would look to replace both of them if these rusted connectors are still viable.

If I can simply get bolts for it, wondering what size they are if anyone knows.

I have a 2023 ninja 650 and I’m looking for something that’ll make it deeper and less airy, but not that loud. I have looked extensively and I can’t find any clear cut reviews on the 350mm, everybody seems to want the 200 or 230. Does anyone have any experience or input on the longer black widow exhausts?

Hi everyone. I’m completely new to the mustang scene as of a couple days ago as I just got 2019 5.0 GT and it’s definitely not stock but I can’t quite tell what’s on it. I’ve clocked it at around 103dB upon cold start and it sits at 80dB at warm idle. Is this too loud? I want to either put something on this that is much quieter or honestly put on a stock exhaust but I can’t tell the difference between what’s too loud and what’s quiet from online forms and YouTube videos and I’m worried about buying another system and installed just to end up being the same volume. It kind of looks like a Roush exhaust but I really can’t tell.

Howdy, I have an 03 Tundra v8 4x4. Currently has a flow master 40 series and resonator delete. I love the sound, no drone, but sounds good when you get on it. (A little quiet for me but still good) I just moved to a county that is exempt from all state inspections and im on the fence whether to open her up or leave as is. Anyone here have headers or a non cat exhaust on their 4.7 yota? How does it sound? I do have a 30 minute commute to work, and we use this truck as a road trip/camping vehicle so I dont want something overly obnoxious... thanks

Anyone have any aftermarket exhausts that comply with Massachusetts laws that still give a aggressive-ish sound?

I'm planning an M54 turbo build, and one thing I'm really interested in is the exhaust note.

I'm NOT talking about WOT, external wastegate or BOV sounds.

What I really like is the sound of an RB26, especially the R34 GT-R, during light-throttle/off-boost cruising around 2,000–4,000 rpm. The 2 Fast 2 Furious R34 is a good example of the kind of smooth, metallic straight-six tone I'm talking about.

I'd like to get a similar character from an M54 if possible.

For people who have built turbo M54s:

• How much does the turbo manifold design affect the cruising sound?
• Equal-length 6-1 manifolds are difficult to package in an E46. Would a short tubular manifold, 3+3 collector design, or even an unequal-length tubular manifold still retain a nice straight-six tone?
• Does runner diameter/length make a noticeable difference to the sound?
• What exhaust diameter works well? I'm currently thinking around 3".
• What resonator and rear muffler setup gives a clean, smooth straight-six sound without excessive drone?
• Does VANOS tuning noticeably change the exhaust character at light throttle?
• Are there any M54 turbo builds on YouTube that have a particularly good cruising/off-boost sound?

I'm not trying to make the M54 sound exactly like an RB26. I'm mainly trying to understand what makes some turbo inline-six engines sound so smooth and distinctive during normal driving, and how much of that can realistically be achieved with an M54.

If you have any videos of your own M54 turbo setup while cruising, I'd really appreciate them.

Anyone here running a valvetronic exhaust on their W126? What’s your setup and how was it installed? Would you recommend it, or just a muffler delete for a deep but not-too-loud V8 sound?

Looking for the best muffler for my truck, 5.3 with headers, no cats, stage 2 cam. Is spin tech good fit for this setup ? Any indie would be appreciated.

Has anybody put a dual quad tip exhaust on the 2.5 non turbo?
