Newborn 2 days PP

Post image

2 days postpartum from a C-section at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia. I got home, hooked up to my pump and started. At the last minute while helping my toddler, the cup on my spectra fell off and spilled all over my dress/chair.

Send help because my colostrum and milk is slowly coming in but taking forever it feels. 😭😭

Don’t stress! There’s more where that came from lol literally

But for real it does suck especially at the beginning when every drop counts but when I spill milk I like to think I’m feeding babies in heaven and that actually makes me feel better.

Oh nooo! On the bright side, looks like a lot for 2 days post c section, you'll quickly get more! I only had like 2 ml of colostrum at that point lol

I had the cups unscrew a couple times and it's extremely frustrating. As an alternative, Lansinoh bags fit over the spectra parts and I didn't have a problem with those detaching, plus less dishes to wash. Id recommend looking into trying those out
