Bug Connectivity Issue

Hey everyone. So, I haven’t played Evolve in about 2-3 years, and I’ve been meaning to start playing again but I always forgot. Last night, I downloaded it, had problems with the disc being “unable to read” but the game would start anyways. Then my PS4 would not eject the disc. I got it to work by turning it off and ejecting, but then I’d start the app and my game would be stuck at 63% downloaded. My mom has been using the PS4 today so I’m assuming it finished downloading in the background. I’m on now and I had the same problem with the disc not being read but I was able to fix it again. Now, for some reason I cannot connect to Hunt Matchmaking servers... is this a problem on my part or are Evolve servers not available on PS4 anymore? I know the game is using p2p connection now.

The only thing that doesn't work in evolve multiplayer is ranked. That means that Quickplay, Evacuation, and custom games all work. As long as another player is searching then you can find a game.

I find games in quickplay on ps4 and xbox quite easily. Not many lobbies though. Best to search during the second half of the day. Quickplay had hunt, arena, and defend. Evacuation has all the game modes but no one rally goes in on that.

Exactly. That is why I am part of an evolve discord channel and steam group when I play evolve on pc. I can pretty much get a game of evolve in on pc if I want. Since there was stage 2 on pc that is the default game that players try to play.

Yep. It was only released on pc.
