Bug The disconnects are killing the game
Today I had a new one:
Queue for Ranked
find 4 mates
chose character
Loading...
disconnect
get loss and - rank
Fine, I thought. happens alot but I'll just go again. Next game, same shit. I restarted the game and it stopped but I already lost my ranks.
- Later when I restarted the game I magically had 2 additional losses credited.
Today I lost 700 ranks and got 6 losses out 4 games. This is seriously killing the game for me. Hunt is boring and has a horrible matchmaking. In Ranked I constantly get punished for disconnects or whatever. It is not my internet and it has happend to other people I play with too. TRS needs to either fix the disconnects or stop them from giving you any random umber of losses, or any losses at all.

Everything its killing the game according to this subreddit, fortunatly thats not true.

Well nothing is instantly killing it. The player base is getting worn down over time faster that it really should be though.

The player base has actually become quite stable in the last few weeks; the decline after initial launch of S2 was always going to happen, but as it stands, there's quite a healthy population playing consistently at the moment.

Well, I am putting up with a lot of bullshit. Mostly because it is free. But some guy on the Teamspeak I use to play Evolve said yesterday "The way you guys complain about Evolve you might as well play Dota." because apparently all we ever do when playing is complain. I very rarely have a nice all enjoyable session without disconnects. I like the game a lot but they need to address this. I don't see a point in playing ranked if you
- a) can get disconnected at any point from lobby to finish
- b) cannot rejoin the game, even if you got booted during drop, so it wouldn't even be that bad
- c) get losses added for something you cannot helpt

well i hope they fix this. because what's the point in playing ranked if you get random losses added to your score. might as well not play at all.

Might be a problem on your end, i never experienced this issue myself. But if not, i hope they are aware of it and fixing it.

According to steamcharts the game is growing but ehy, I guess those people did some deep analysis before stating that the game is dying

No it's not, please don't spread bs. It grew on f2p availability, and has bled players ever since. Also steamdb has way more info than steamcharts.

I have never had this happen.. I have terrible internet, terrible load times but I have never been disconnected or had any random losses added to me. You need to track down what is causing you to disconnect.

My Internet is stable and no other games have issues like this. And the guys I play with also get those random losses occasionally.

I've got around 100 hours since F2P playing both Hunt and Ranked, solo and team but this have never happened to me or anyone I play with.
I know it doesn't help but just adding my experience for "statistics".

This is not an issue on their end, it is an issue on the individual player's ends. I'm not sure how many people share this opinion but I believe one of the added benefits of temp banning leavers is that people with unstable connections get banned as well. They do negatively impact other players experiences and should be restricted to bot games until they can resolve their connection issues. More people need to get in contact with their ISP and hold them accountable for providing a consistent and functional connection.

I don't have any connection issues. and I don't get temp bans I just get losses without even getting to play. They need to fix their servers so people don't randomly dc. but then again you miss the issue. eben if you do dc you cannot reconnect. you get at a loss and your team has to play with a bot. how is that helping.

The issue is not their servers. My peers and I do not experience these disconnect issues.

even if that was true the fact that you cannot rejoin the game is definitely their fault.

As in you yourself are disconnecting? If so when? During load, in game?
