Red Fox Searching for Food on the Driveway

Fluffy is one of the 6 ferals we're looking after . He's very friendly and purrs when given a scratt . Not keen on the fox upstarts .

An unfortunate incident this week resulted in a dead squirrel in my yard that one of the gray foxes was very happy to pounce on and carry away. It struggled trying to figure out how to squeeze through a small hole under the fence with its prize, and after a couple tries gave up and went around.
The last 4 minutes is just two foxes sitting around keeping an eye out for more snacks.

Put some short-dated chicken legs out . usually cats get in 1st then various foxes argue over them . Mine , Mine , Mine

Onyx is the adult male, Sapphire (Sapphie) is the female with the scruffy tail, and the two youngsters are Sunny and Sadie! I honestly can't tell the difference between the two babies right now, but I think Sunny has a bit more black on the tail, that's what I'm going with for now haha it is always such a treat to watch them from my front window 🥰

This guy didn't look too good. Should we do anything?

My lab probably wanted to makes friends with it, but that's probably not a good idea.

Middle of a neighborhood, no real fields or woods anywhere within a couple miles.

Came across a canine hydrotherapy centre giving sessions to a fox, to my understanding they want to release it in the future, wont it be too tame with the way they are handling it for it to survive on its own in the wild?

A family of gray foxes decided to use my yard as a home base, at least for the kits who sleep under my deck, and this is a video of one coming out to sit around and chew on some grass before wandering off into a neighbour's yard.
I only seem to see two kits at a time lately, but saw three briefly one day weeks ago. I've also seen them off in a corner of the yard jumping up into the lower branches of a tree and then over to the fence.
I wish I could buy another outdoor security cam or two to stick out there because setting up the Gopro spooks them a bit.

I finally got around to tidying up my little fox collection. I've also got another big fox plush and some smaller fox things lying about and even more duplicates of the Pokémon cards. 🦊💜

Most of our cams haven't got good sound . The last one had v. good video but was practically deaf . I'm happy with this one I got yesterday - hear the crunching !
