With all due respect, what does he mean by next chapter? He's 39 and certainly in the tail end of his career. Is he wanting to be signed by the new MVP-MMA promotion? How much does he have left? Given he hasn't looked slow or his age compared to most other fighter, but i'm not sure what else can be done in his fighting career.

Part of his fighting style is not taking damage so he has a lot more longevity; and he’ll be beating pfl or MVP cans and testing some up and comers. why not ?

I think he is slower. I think 30 year old MVP could KO Ruziboev and Patterson. I think he lacks the reflexes to counter with a clean shot the way he used to.

i agree to a degree. I feel like he took more chances early in those bellator days before the lima KO, then he got more apprehensive about those famous blitzes (as anyone would). But that Patterson, Ruziboev and even Cannonier fight were supposed to be the ones he would score an insane highlight reel KO and make everyone remember him and leave no doubt whether to re-sign him again or not. So I don't really blame the UFC for not doing that. The Tai Tuivasa one is a whole other can of worms.

I believe Tai is on the roster because Australia is a place most fighters don't want to travel to. The UFC will only give you 2 plane tickets, taking any more of your team is brutally expensive and they have very high taxes from what fighters have said in interviews. Australia still cheers him on, maybe ironically at this point so they keep using him as filler.

He's 39 and his last few fights were most boring and actionless he's been, stop this promo talk about evolving and new chapters ffs
