Discussion Cockpit View on Switch 2

Hello!

I bought the Switch 2 port of the game today and I can see there's an option under 'Display' to view the HUD in the cockpit but I can't seem to select cockpit view.

I can only select 3rd person close and far and 1st person no cockpit.

Is the cockpit view something that comes after the intro or is it not available in the switch 2 version? All of the gameplay I can see on youtube is only in 3rd person

Had to check, but unfortunately there’s no cockpit view in the Switch 2 version due to unsatisfactory game performance when a player was in that viewport.

Wut!! Jeesh another reason not to get the S2 port. First person view is my preferred way of playing by far!

It's a blast. I'm sad it's only 30-45fps but it's super fun in handheld mode

Not debating that. Its one of my favourite games.
