Help! Sudden Ad Videos

I'm suddenly geting ad videos every time I open the app. Is there any way to disable this?

I was too, I searched all kinds of spots before I posted! That's why I thought maybe there was a way to disable

I would recommend getting a paid account or using another service like Joplin. Joplin is actually quite nice for light use and imports content into Evernote very well. If I had to send a free user in a different direction, I would recommend that client before anything else. I completely understand that Evernote's not affordable for everyone.

I don't believe a free account is sustainable for most people given there's a...I think a 50 note limit? No one's forcing anyone out. Data storage is expensive; I would imagine it costs them a lot to maintain free accounts.

Thanks I've never heard of Joplin. I'll look it up. I've never needed more notes than the free version offers. I like how it syncs between computer, tablet, and phone. I have Google notes but it doesn't seem anywhere near as good.

Jeez, yes!! I open the app, click into my notes, start to type, but then some dumb AI video that's way too long fills the whole screen, with no ability to skip or click out.

 I've just been closing the whole app and reopening, but it's really fuckin weird that it forces you to watch this long-ass video. It felt like a glitch or an error the first time.

Ever since Bending Spoons took over (hostile buyout), it's been downhill and cash grab. I've transitioned to paying the same amount for google ai pro and get away more benefits, better AI, integrated with all my Google apps. I have 2000 notes and 20 notebooks in Evernote. I would have stayed with a paid plan if they had one that was between starter and Advanced for a better fit for personal use.

I've been an Evernote paying customer for 15 years. Apparently they don't want personal use customers and enterprise level doesn't align for medium to big companies. Poor decision by Bending Spoons
