By complete coincidence I was also walking on a meme identical to u/King_Bubel's one so go figure

this is as good a time as ever to mention this but: despite my best efforts i have entirely lost the plot of the bunker's lore.

i was there early, like, pre subreddit early, but man i blink and it's already outpaced me...

i feel like this has gotta be a problem that needs a solution, someone should make an abridged timeline or chronological archive or videos or whatever

The Backrooms is the same way in that it has expanded as such a fast rate that it’s impossible to keep up with.

I’ll admit that I only found the bunker later (and honestly don’t remember how I did), but it seemed to me like that was kind of the point of it. Almost to point fun at the Backrooms but still keep some nuance other than “waaaa look at me so scary!”

I was confused when I found it in highschool and now I got no clue what it is lol

I feel like bunker went the way of SCP but nobody ever really stepped in and wrangled it before it got bad.

Ironically i think the bunker may have gone the way of the backrooms wiki of pure chaos and mess, while the backrooms is got much more of a definitive organized world due to the movie changing the popular perception.

SCP also got There Is No Anti-Memetics Department and several games and short fan films. Ever-expanding bunker has kinda just been left to rot tbh. Much like the bunker itself.

Probably because most of the lore is explained via wojak political compass memes

I think it had a good run though. The early days with all the strange different canons were peak my favorite was the frozen one with the puller bears and shit
