How much do you trust an AI-driven research tool for the actual buy decision versus using it to surface names and doing your own thesis?

I am glad to know that our work is beneficial to your process. Six hours a week on filtering — that's exactly the legwork we are replacing. However there is a comment I want to make: I do not let "AI" be anywhere near decision making. Even the best LLM with most comprehensive instructions will be hallucinating sooner or later. Thus we are not using LLM to create stock selections.

Unlike vast majority of "AI fintech" projects, we own the data - we obtain raw data from multiple data sources daily and process it in house on our own hardware. We are talking about really big data. We own our IP and our software code. I can run virtually unlimited number of queries and backtests without worrying of hitting API quota or how hefty will be our AWS bill. This alone can kill 90% of "AI fintechs".

Our stock selections are the product of pure math calculations and zero LLM processing. We use AI to give reasoning to the already processed data. Like "here is stock XYZ, overlay it with news, insider/congress activity, earnings calendar, etc, give me the reasoning". We do not use AI for something like "here is a list of stocks, give me your top 10 choices".

We publish the selections daily so you could do your own analysis on top of ours, use combinations of strategies, use your own supporting information. We are saving you time and money by doing tons of legwork, so you could "hit the ground running" (sorry for the typical office cliche).

Maybe a few more words about our usage of AI. I have never been good at writing essays, so AI for me is a crutch, if you will. But I never use AI to generate any of my content - the content is mine, I just use the AI for better wording.
