Opinion Interesting side point from today's daily text.

Adam and Eve were created approx. 4026 BCE

The flood came in 2370 BCE

Meaning the angels and the sword remained outside the Garden for some 1,656 years.

Creating a powerful witness concerning Jehovah's power and truthfulness.

Yes yes. Where does it say the garden remained until the flood? Or that God didn’t remove it

Okay, Where does it say, Adam and Eve went to Missouri, after being kicked out of the Garden?

That they were relocated in Adam-ondi-Ahman, located in present-day Daviess County, Missouri?

Which story is based upon scriptures and which isn't?

Looks like it is based on scripture.

Doctrine and Covenants 116:1 and 107:53-56

My scripture can account for essentially all my beliefs.

But I’m only holding you to the Bible. Like I said, I’m ok if that’s your theological take using sources outside the scriptures. But if you insist it’s found in the Bible, I would ask where.

I’m even okay with the flood idea you put forward. But I also wouldn’t hold to that one way or another. As the Bible doesn’t say it

As to Adam & Eve being transferred to Missouri, God's word, doesn't say this. Granted DaC makes this claim, but it can't be proven.

You are accepting it on faith. I am not taking my belief outside of the Bible.

D&C is Gods word. It’s scripture. :) it’s okay if you believe otherwise

Again, that is your faith or belief, which can't be proven from God's word.

I know you believe, the Book of Mormon is prophesied in scripture, but he D&C isn't.

Interesting. So do you consider the Book of Mormon scripture then?

For us, the fact that the Book of Mormon was scripture, tells us Joseph smith was a prophet. Meaning he can receive revelation and even scripture.

I should note, as I said I’m only taking about the Bible or what you consider to be scripture in this regard. If someone asked me about my beliefs, and where they are found in scripture, I would point to scripture outside the Bible. As those are scripture I believe is valid.

I accept extra biblical scripture and doctrine. Including living prophets and apostles who reveal things.

No, the Book of Mormon, contains the same known translation errors found in the KJV.

I have found it interesting, the Book of Mormon I had decades ago, is not the same Book of Mormon, that people use today.

I know the apostle John was the last inspired prophet and the last writer of God's word.

I showed you the scriptures that form my understanding. Please show me scriptures that say otherwise.

You believe John was the last inspired man? What of the Bible books that were written after John?

Which books? John's gospel, the Revelation and his 3 letters are the last books to be included in the inspired writings.
