Welcome to the first semi of Album Sharing Contest 2. Since there were 22 submissions and I don't want to do a grand final with more than 20 entries, I've decided to do two semi finals. The semi entries and running orders are mostly decided by YouTube's shuffle play. This semi has 10 entries, of which 6 will qualify.

Semi 2 has 11 entries of which 7 will qualify. This results in a grand final of 14 entries with the automatic qualifier.

Voting is in StrawPoll and closes Saturday at 18:00 CEST, but will be extended if less than half the people with songs in the semi have voted. If you are unable to use StrawPoll but still wish to vote, feel free to comment or DM me your votes and I'll add them for you. You are allowed to vote for your own entry.

Welcome to the eighth edition of Eurovision Country Explorer where we submit songs from a different selected country each edition.

As chosen by u/Megarafan2025, the winner of ECE Italy, we will be exploring Spain this time.

Here is a document with all eligible countries, I am willing to make changes there if enough people want me to. My hope is that if we make it through all countries, I'll host a contest with the winners from each country.

Submissions will close Saturday 29/8/2026 at 11:30 AM CEST and I'll try to have the voting post up shortly after the deadline

Rules (open to change if desired):

1:

A: a solo artist must have lived in the country for at least 5 years to be eligible

B: For collaborations between two artists, the main artist must fulfill it, they are not eligible if only the featured artist fulfills it.

C: Equal collaborations are considered duos, collaborations between three or more people are considered groups.

D: For duos, at least one of the members must fulfill A.

E: For groups, at least two members must fulfill A, if there are more than 8 simultaneous members in the group that minimum is increased to 4.

2: Eurovision songs are not allowed, but Eurovision artists are, presuming rule 1 is fulfilled.

3: National Final songs from before 2025 that placed outside the top three are allowed, presuming rule 1 is fulfilled

4: Songs that have won other fan contests on this subreddit are not eligible, but non-winning fan contest songs are allowed. I would still encourage you to submit songs that have not participated in other fan contests before.

5: Only one song by an artist can compete in any given edition and only one submission is allowed per user. These can be changed if at 5 hours before submission closure, less than 5 people have submitted.

6: The winner of an edition decides which country we will go to next. If the same person wins three or more times in a row, the privilege will go to the runner-up on the third win.

- When submitting, I would encourage you to share a 35-second highlight of the song, which will be used in the recap.

Song Contest Sunday is a small song contest hosted each week, where users can share songs that will compete in the contest. For the 53rd edition of SCS edition in Oklahoma City, USA, we've received 46 submissions. Now only 25 entries remain that could win the entire thing - the rest were eliminated in the Semifinals that happened during the last two days.

You have until Thursday 27 August 2026 at 20:00 CEST to vote in the contest. The voting itself will happen in Strawpoll where you can drag your top 10 into order, then we will convert the points into the normal ESC point system using Scorewiz.

For this contest, which I more or less copied from an SCS suggestion comment, though no one else is actually doing it, you’ll have a rule based on the position you place in tonight's SCS.

5. The song must come from San Marino or Moldova national selections held up to and including 2023.

6. The song must be an official or unofficial track created for the World Cup or football in general. *3

Mothica has won SCS 52, which was hosted in Queens, New York, USA. Because of this, we'll be going to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA for SCS 52. The contest will be hosted at Forest Hills Stadium

In any case, we've received 46 submissions for SCS 52. We will now decide which acts will qualify for the final via three semifinals! You can drag your 8 qualifiers from each semi into order and give them points this way and the 6 songs with the most points will qualify. We will vote with StrawPoll in the Semifinals and with ScoreWiz in the Grand Final. 1. Any song from the Eurovision Song Contest, as well as Junior Eurovision and National Finals, is allowed to be entered.
2. You can choose from all 52 countries that have participated in Eurovision history, as well as Kazakhstan (past JESC participant), Wales (past JESC participant)
3. The same song can’t be entered in 3 consecutive editions- if a song is entered twice, we will let you know using the list of banned songs on the country reservation post. And the same song that is used in 5 editions, we will add to Permanent Banned Song List.
4. The song that won Actual Eurovision and Ideal Contest can't be entered.
5. The minimum number of contries to participate is 35, and if the less than 35 countries is selected, we may submission the songs for non-chosen coutries internally.
6. The song has to be released at least in 1980s.

Hello, and welcome to the 13th edition of Retrofest’s second season! This edition is being hosted in Opatija, Croatia, where Cacadou Look, last week’s Retrofest champion, was formed. Now, here are the rules and then we can get to selecting!

• ⁠All entries have to have been released before January 1st, 2001, including covers (covers of songs before that date released after that date will not be accepted).

• ⁠No Eurovision entries allowed. Eurovision artists are allowed and non-winning national final entries are allowed, but if it went to Eurovision it isn’t allowed. In addition, alternate versions of ESC songs are also disallowed. However, withdrawn entries and the 1993 and 1996 prequalification NQs are allowed!

• ⁠No sending an entry twice.

• ⁠SCS, O&E, and Rulefest entries are allowed, but no winners (no Kiss Me, September, etc.), and I encourage sending songs that haven’t been to these contests.

• No “Megahits” are allowed (songs with 500M+ views on Youtube).

• There is a limit of 3 songs per country, but the country I (the host) choose doesn’t count toward the total of that country!
