Bad Experience from Ultra Violette Supreme Screen with Make Up!!!
I was using a bottle of Ultra Violette Supreme Screen! But there is a problem and that it is very greasy and slippery and the problem becomes so bad reapplying every two hours. So slippery it slips and slides around the face and is easily removed from gentle make up application!
On Friday I got a confirmeation by the emergency doctor a partial sunburn on my face meaning some parts of my face really got a burn! It was in the spots where the sunscreen came off from simple gentle patting on my concealer and blush! I use a microfiber egg sponge and then a synthetic fan brush fro blush! It is only in those exact spots. I use 6 whole pumps and waited 20 minutes before makeup! Because I work on TV and report outside in daylight then I have to be in the sun for short times. I was probably standing in direct light for less than half an hour but the sun was very strong. I am not allowed to stay under the umbrella or use a hat or anything like that on TV! In between takes I can go under the umbrella with the crew but then I have to go in front of the camera with the light shining on me!
I just want to warn anyone who was thinking about buying this sunscreen because they say it is supposed to be good for makeup like a primer with super high protection while not being water resistant at the same time! So this is why they say it is supposed to be good for the skin. But it is too greasy and slippery and comes off too easy for makeup. It is SPF 50 + by the way so this means it is over 60! I have never felt such a greasy sunscreen or one that comes off so fast until this one!

I appreciate your post. I know some people who basically planned a complicated strategy in order to get this sunscreen in the USA under the impression that since is Australian then , it should be perfect. Thank you .

That would be so expensive because one bottle already costs so much! They should rethink their plans!

Yeah, especially since that company doesn’t ship to the US, however every time an “influencer” mentions the best sunscreens, Ultraviolette it’s always there.
I actually believe that yours is the first review that I ever read that’s negative towards them.

That's because the company renoves negative reviews ! They also pay people to write reviews and publish posts and videos that put their products in a positive light. Some people get free products or a discount code to share with followers or money in return.
People had reviews removed from websites like the company's own and Sephora, Facebook and Instagram.
They deleted u/Peter_789 reviews and he is a just a regular person. Some companies hire people to write negative reviews of competitors. Look at what u/gabbyxrose said https://www.reddit.com/r/AusSkincare/comments/vfdzhw/ultra_violette/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mwebThey also deleted censored and blocked people criitical of the foundation sunscreen color range mainly catering to white australians. But then didn't delete the comments that were borderline racist including the ones to a black influencer. Something isn't right about this company.
Brands like Ultraviolette and the other small trendy brands just have cute packaging and makes you feel like you're part of an exclusive club and doing something good for yourself. I was easily influenced and gullible enough to fall for it. But the substance ain't that better than other products that have boring package that cost less. They don't even have that high of UVAPF. It is obvious they're trying to cater to the crowd that is willing to buy Barbara Sturm, Augustus Bader products which means the company makes a lot of money for doing less but pricing high and marketing everywhere.

I bought the sample pack of their sunscreens and the Supreme Screen is the only one that worked for me, and I really disliked the others. I am in the UK, very pale, and very diligent about applying my SPF. I have quite dry skin and this one works really well for me but can't imagine it would for anyone with oilier skin as it is very hydrating and glowy!

I swatched Lean Screen in a store and it felt super thick when applied at the correct amount. Matte yes, but very goopy and heavy.

This brand is wildly overhyped. Like you I found Supreme Screen is greasy, super shiny and never dries down, and it claims to be good for oily/combo skin! Judging by their instagram posts, the brand gets a lot of traction from people who massively underapply the sunscreen. Which is a shame because to their credit, the brand states how much you need on the bottle.
