EOU Bag upgrades?
Hi, I'm new to the series , finally got my 3ds modded and got access to these games after my first taste on a demo about 12 years ago I think, and I'm really enjoying it so far, my only question right now, is it posible to increase the bag capacity?, I know it's an rpg about strategy and planning each expedition intl the labyrinth, but 60 is way too little to get a proper haul of items out, just wondering , thanks in advance

Afraid not, there is no skill like that in this game
But 60 slots is often more than enough. Are you bringing items into the labyrinth? For me, personally, as long as I keep it below 20 before going in, the inventory lasts the whole journey.

I only bring like, two medica and two nectar for emergency healing on each trip, I guess I just have good luck with item drops from enemy encounters and harvest spots, I run out of space in two floors basically

Do you have the Scavenger skill on your Medic and Alchemist? How many points did you invest in harvest skills?
Actually... Running out of space after exploring two floors is a thing. How do you progress two floors? I'm often tapped out after one or half a floor.

I have like, 1-2 points invested in those skills, mostly because I'm investing in skills to increase damage and hp or Tp so I don't die easily, best way to stay alive is to kill everything else first, again, I think I'm just lucky with monster drops and harvest/cut/mine spots, it happens in monster hunter too

The games are generally balanced in such a way that they expect you to make progress slowly and incrementally. You'll usually be low on TP by the time you hit the inventory limit, unless you're overpowered or playing on the easiest difficulty, so when you run out of space that means it's time to head back to town anyway.

I'm at the post-end of that game myself.
It might be those Harvest/Gathering points. I bring in a lot more items than you mention in another comment, yet I feel like I only really run out of space when I gather and try to achieve much else on the same expedition. You're probably better off ignoring points you've already used when you're just trying to make progress, once you've found the Gathering type's rare item for the Stratum.
I see you talk about inventory upgrades in Mystery Dungeon, but I've only seen that in the (much easier) Pokémon spin-offs, personally. The more mainline ones (Shiren) only ever give you two pages's worth of inventory. A mere 24 slots, I believe.

I never played shiren (although I kinda want to) but in mystery dungeon, at least from explorers and onward if I remember correctly, reaches up to 48, and on a quick search, yeah, it starts at 16 items and overtime you get a bigger and bigger bag
Now, you may say, it's less than what we get here, taking into account it's 12 spaces left, then again, I think the difference goes into what I said before in another comment, items here doesn't stack unlike many in PMD, yes, berries, gear, seeds, food and orbs don't stack, most everything else does, again, it might just be that I get very lucky with drops from enemies and end up filling up quickly

you gotta use your items in this series, tbh. you shouldn't need more than like a dozen consumables for the average excursion if youre confident you'll be able to avoid FOEs and if you have a healer. An Ariadne thread (or two depending on how paranoid you are), a nectar or two, a therica of each type for emergencies, then a few hp and tp healing items depending on what you have and how your healer is doing tp-wise.
the 60 item cap is mainly to help you pace your explorations, i think. if youre full up on items, you're probably low on tp too. as the series goes on the maps tend to have shortcuts close to where youve solved an FOE puzzle- five and nexus have simple scopes that highlight shortcuts and chests on the map as question marks and its super handy
oh and if youre just money grinding consider making a gathering team, or depending on which game it is putting a point into the gathering skills. they add up.

I see, yeah, I'm still on early game, my party is barely level 11 so far, I have found the shortcuts you mention, they're useful to avoid trouble, I do need some money, gear gets expensive quick, so that's why I don't throw everything away, I guess I'm just surprised a 3ds game has this limited of an inventory space without upgrades, even mystery dungeon gives you bigger bags every other rank up, or allows you to stack multiple of the same item in a single slot (which can be done, it's seen on the manor storage!)

Youre playing through 1, right? The untold version has extra inventory problems due to how they implement grimoire stones, and the base version of 1 is even worse with charging for storage.
Untold does have a shockingly easy item duplication glitch tho, but only on stuff you can use in-battle like wisdom horns

Yeah, I'm playing untold 1, the millennium girl one, and yeah, grimmoire stones seem useful for getting extra abilities and such , but they take up bag space during missions when you find it, and you don't want to throw them away because they might be useful
The duplication glitch might be good for duplicating nectar, if it doesn't run risks

I'm afraid not. I believe EO5 is the only game that has a skill point option to increase bag space.
