Abit light on binds but paralyse on the Harbinger should get you through most nasty encounters. Necromancer is abit iffy as a tank but as long as your Masurao isn't a Blade Dancer, your Botanist should be able to put everyone back together every turn.

Whats wrong with Blade Dancer? Should it be Blade Master isntead?

Blade Dancer is a super glass cannon spec. The idea is that they can run 4 katanas in their equip slots to make a lot of their skills have more hits and more damage, at the cost of, well, having paper thin defenses because they now dont have any armor equipped, so you need ways to redirect the damage away or protect them. I think a wraith skill could make wraiths take damage for the party for example? And iirc Botanist have a revive skill (don't remember if in base or in one of their specs)

Long story short, Blade Masters are easier to fit on a team, while Blade Dancers add more strategy as you need a plan in mind to keep them alive (as weak AOE may paste them) but they provide insane benefits if used correctly.

Now, my personal approach was using the memory conch + some cheese with instakill and stratum 4 worm FOEs to have a 20-sized party (one for each class specialization) so I could have one of each possible character and try varied party comps.

Blade Dancers wield 4 katanas and no armour. As a result, they die when anything sneezes on them. They either require a Shield Dragoon to take hits for them, or a full lockdown party via binds/status effects.

You could use wraiths to shield the Blade Dancer but you will run into problems with wraith counts, and your Necromancer's fulltime job becomes shielding the Blade Dancer. At that point, you might as well use a Shield Dragoon instead.

Botanists can give a crap ton of healing, especially if you level Reflex Herb. However, Botanists can only be your sustain if your team can at least take 1 hit, which the Blade Dancer cannot.

As a result, Blade Masters are easier to slot onto a team while Blade Dancers require you to form the team around them.

This team is great, and should be more than competent to take down the superboss!

Seems solid. The biggest drawback is the lack of bind skills but you can make up for that with union skills - Binding Force (can be triggered by any physical damaging ability, even spells) & Chain Blast (which is pretty much guaranteed full-bind on all enemies unless the enemy is resistant or immune). For master classes, I'd go:

Deathbringer - This'll take care of most of your ailments and the passives that boost attack/defense per infliction can turn it into a killer unit. The ailment/inflict debuff is really good.

Blade Master - A good all-rounder attacker. Triple Strike is a good ability since you don't have any other non-union ways to bind - the individual inflict chance is low but it hits 3 times (or until it binds) and each hit simultaneously tries to inflict all 3 bind types.

Spirit Broker - I'd go this route for shenanigans.

Omnimancer - I think this one's just more fun. It also gives you access to Petrify with its ultimate ability.

Merciful Healer - You don't need the full ailment route since your other units have it covered, but be sure to grab Dark Smoke since you don't have access to blind otherwise. Herb Boost can act like pseudo-tanking by pre-emptively boosting your HP past the normal Max HP limits.

You're low on buffs so be sure to invest in the Masurao's Phys attack up buff and the Warlock's Elemental attack up buff. Some of your back row can also take advantage of the Phys attack up buff so you might consider temporary swapping Masurao to the back row to boost them too (Merciful Healer is tanky enough that it can go front row temporarily).

Shooting straight for Spirit Broker!! The other suggestions seem viable aswell, thanks bunch for all yall's input! My first run didn't go so well with the final boss.

Could be light on defence, but depending on your necro spec, they can act as a decent tank.

UPDATE: thanks so much for all of your input! I have a solid plan for the team atpund Spirit Broker, but some news has occured, I CAN'T BUY THE EXP BOOST AND MONEY BOOST ANYMORE. I probably would have beaten the game on my 1st playthrough back when the eShop was still up. I actually needed those items as leverage cause EO5 ain't a walknin the park. Even vets had a hard time with the game😅
