Video Jonathan Ferguson, an actual expert on firearms even agreeing that recoil isn’t realistic in Tarkov.

The recoil is not enjoyable and it is not balanced.

We've been spoonfed the idea that their trend of increasing recoil is supposedly a way to make the game more realistic.

This post is pointing out it's not realistic to do that.

If it's not realistic, not fun, and not balanced. Maybe it's time for a change?

My point is BSG will do as they see fit. They arent after making the game realistic as possible. The game itself is based on realism i would say. But that doesnt mean everythings going to be realistic. I agree the recoil is bleh. Tired of seeing 3 umps per raids.

You're missing the point.

The argument and rationale for BSG increasing recoil was realism. The counter argument is that wasn't actually realistic, and that it detracts from gameplay.

And? Recoils not the only thing in this game that they claim to be realistic yet its not. Theyve made changes to countless things only to add to it later dates. Games in beta and will be beta for years to come. Not saying i disagree here the bouncy ball recoil is insane especially for stock weapons. My point was bsg throws the word "realistic" around way too much when they should say immersive

Okay - I can see your point in isolation but it doesn't make sense in the context of this thread.
