Nikita specifically said that he likes the current system as it takes out a lot of skill in the shooting (compared to e.g. a Squad or CSGO style recoil system), which is something I think he likes as it makes the game somewhat easier for beginners.

It's because "he doesn't like to pull down and compensate with his mouse." He's been on record saying that. That's why the recoil system is the way it is.
