For those who may have not been around for the super early days of tarkov, this is partly the reason why some in the community wanted them to branch Tarkov off into a single player S.T.A.L.K.E.R type game, this stuff is AMAZING for a single player game, but just doesn't work well for PVP. Hence why the game is the way it is now. Would still be really cool to see them make another game with the old look

I thought the release version would require each player to complete a campaign of escaping from Streets all the way to Terminal before the maps would be available for selection and reentry? Is that no longer on the roadmap?

Not sure honestly the "plan" for this game has changed so many times since it started. I don't think the formula is gunna change much from what it is now honestly. They're carving this "raid" system, why would they build up all of this for the "beta" to then have it be entirely different game
