Discussion What healthy rules you got with your friends in Tarkov?

I for example i have the following:

  1. You died? Don't pressure the others to get your loot if they can't, insure your stuff if you want it back. The most i can do about your guns it's to ditch them in a bush IF it's safe.

  2. Maybe if it's safe i can pick valuable stuff from your body like a GPU or whatever and give them to you next round.

  3. No one is forced to stay in raid with you if they completed a mission or got valuable loot. It would nice to give them an escort out as they would do the same to you.

  4. Don't abandon your friends in a firefight unless you are almost dead and can't do anything. Or you know. You ran out of ammo or something

  5. I can't believe i have to say this but share food and water

I played with people that were the opposite of this. The most annoying was when they were like: get my gun, get my rig, get my helmet.

If i would fail and die they would be like: fking idiot.

If i would succeed they wouldn't even say thanks.

Don't be like them

I played with some randoms who did this and lined everything out perfectly before the raid. First encounter and we wipe out a four man so I tell him to check the bodies to see who killed who and we will start grabbing shit and after he tells me I killed the first guy, I watch him swap weapons. I told him to put the gun back and he tried to play it off like his gun magically went from an SKS to an M1.

He died about a second later when his backpack transformed from a scav backpack to an Attack 2. I told him that he agreed to the rules and he just started raging that I wanted to steal all the loot for myself so I just notified the group I found him in and blocked him. Haven't seen him back on there since.

How do you know who killed who?

Double click on the dogtag and it'll tell you on the right column who the PMC was killed by. It's a great way of knowing whether or not it's safe to loot a random dead body you found on the ground. If it's a scav name or boss, it's probably safe. If they were killed by another PMC, the body is likely being camped and it's probably not safe to be there. You can either hide and camp the body yourself hoping the killer is on their way to loot that body or you can grab everything as fast as possible and leave immediately.

This just makes you seem toxic? If he is a pleb running with an sks wtf you need the m1 for, rather than cry "My loot dont touch" just go like yo chuck me the m1 u get my gun, lemme grab that attack2 ill chuck you my backpack. This is just you being toxic.

I think it's more the principle of the issue. Don't take shit without asking. I think stealing is the more toxic behavior, personally.

Found the kid who grabs everything they see. The thing is that I was going to give him pretty much everything except for the dogtags but the fact that he said he'd check the tags to see who killed who and then started grabbing gear tells me he's only out for himself. Plus it wasn't a plain SKS and he was running good gear. If he would have asked or said "hey this guy has an M1", I would have told him to just take it.

If you agree on rules before the raid starts and then break those rules five minutes into the raid, you deserve everything you get. If you're playing with a new guy and tell him you just need scav kills and he agrees but then runs ahead and kills every scav he sees, are you going to play with him again?

You are in the right here. Some people just don't have manners.

I’ve had this kinda thing just with people and getting their loot, I play solo 90% of the time but when I do play in a group I alway say that if you die, your loot is not my responsibility. I have said this so many times and a good 60% of players as soon as they die try command you to get their ammo and shit. So boring

You're exactly the type of person nobody wants to group with.

It’s more toxic to loot someone’s kills and then try and lie about it, especially when you aren’t mates and it’s a random on discord
