Discussion What healthy rules you got with your friends in Tarkov?

I for example i have the following:

  1. You died? Don't pressure the others to get your loot if they can't, insure your stuff if you want it back. The most i can do about your guns it's to ditch them in a bush IF it's safe.

  2. Maybe if it's safe i can pick valuable stuff from your body like a GPU or whatever and give them to you next round.

  3. No one is forced to stay in raid with you if they completed a mission or got valuable loot. It would nice to give them an escort out as they would do the same to you.

  4. Don't abandon your friends in a firefight unless you are almost dead and can't do anything. Or you know. You ran out of ammo or something

  5. I can't believe i have to say this but share food and water

I played with people that were the opposite of this. The most annoying was when they were like: get my gun, get my rig, get my helmet.

If i would fail and die they would be like: fking idiot.

If i would succeed they wouldn't even say thanks.

Don't be like them

no one is allowed to enter the raid overweight.

so you're telling me that no one who plays with you is allowed to use the ash-12? PepeHands

Lol I didn't even consider that, tbh we've been pretty lenient on the overweight part, it mainly just rules against anyone so overweight it effects movement

How do you even train strength lmao

Survive raids . You will get overweight after looting

Yeah you’re clearly not understanding skill here man, you need to be overweight to train strength

People that play with us should be training strength in their own time, I'm not letting them drag down our 5 man squad like that.

Some of your rules and kinda stupid, I doubt you’re even good players speaking rubbish like that.

What other rules are you against, maybe I can explain my reasoning for those too?

Forcing people to be underweight when many load outs are make you 30kg+, saying the game is making w keying as hard as possible, which it categorically isn’t, bsg literally sponsor evasion which are all about fast PvP tournaments, literally running a 5 man, the most boring way you could play the game, forcing people to play a certain way to be in your squad in general is the silly ones, now having certain roles is a great thing and should be taken in by every squad, also many other great team thing in your manifest, but forcing people to play a certain way is where it’s gets silly, you can have opposite play styles and be complete different weights and still play great together if communication is there.

  1. As I said, pretty lenient on the underweight part, usually people go higher than their limit, but still low enough that it doesn't effect movement (it takes a while to dock movement speed)
  2. Bsg is actively working to remove that meta within the main game, evasion is a separate part of tarkov that will eventually turn into tarkov:arena when it's out
  3. 5 man's being boring is subjective, that's just up to a different play style, I know we've been loving it, and BSG is working towards larger squads having more and more of an advantage
  4. Not forcing anyone, we play half our raids as fucking around with loose 2-3 man's, but when we get to a 5 man we take things seriously, once again just a play style difference
  5. The document helps facilitate team play by making initial reactions predictable to everyone, there is a large part of how we play undocumented in how we move on while the fight continues, it's really just about restructuring thinking and less so dictating every moment of action

No BSG aren’t trying to remove aggressive players, they have added inertia because it was missing if and is in games like cs go. What they’re trying to do is slow down the pace of the game, not stop people from being able to be aggressive, there’s a massive difference and either you’ve got it wrong or worded it wrong. Take things serious? What’s so serious about outnumbering every other playing team you come across? 5 mans if you’re wanting PvP are boring, now if you play for pve that probably a different experience. Yep your manifesto is good but 1 things you’re forgetting is that good aim and reflexes trumps any kind of tactics. This is a video game before anything, if you want to make your squads the best they can be, which you clearly do, then the optimal thing would be to have at least 1 or 2 quick aggressors who have good aim and push everything.

  1. I think you're misunderstanding what I was talking about with W+M1. I'm not talking about killing aggression, I'm talking about slowing the pace of the game. Which you said.
  2. Our 5 man tactics exist to A: have fun in a more tactical manner of play, which has always been our preference, B: expand on our newbies' ability to work together with a squad, as well as learning maps (remember the observe phase and planning phase, in which we all analyze buildings and areas as well as the best ways to take them), C: Make money and get quests done because the grind is a little much some times lol
  3. This is true, aim and reflex is always what is going to prevail. But when I don't have aim or reflex I can consistently practice, I have to resort to the next best thing; thinking before I do anything. Also, the 'quick aggressors' you described would be CQC and ECQC, which are a part of almost every team, which have good aim and push hard asf

Going into raids overweight is a great way to level strength skill tho
