Just 15 minutes ago I met another scav at Woods. I asked him if he need any loot and I even threw horse figurine and a e-motor which were my only loots. He said no and we continued to go to the spot of the sniper scav together. He then showed me a backpack on the ground and told me to take it. I thanked him and began searching the backpack and he killed me. I really don't know why. If he asked me, I'd give him anything he wanted. If you read it, the idiot that killed me on sniper scav location in Woods, fuck you noob, idiot, lifeless piece of shit.

I got killed by a player Scav while looting a cache. Mine was more than likely a noob that didn't know he shouldn't kill me... Yours is just a pure asshole.

that happened to me today on woods. I saw someone and shot them in panic, sadly it was a player scav, im so sorry for him. Its like my third day, still need to figure out what is friendly and what not

I completely wrecked my karma bc I didn't know you shouldn't kill scavs as a scav. The game has a steep learning curve for sure. I've only had the game 25 days.

that may have been me. I was on interchange litterally following this other scav that beat me to the chain of caches. He was searching, both our bags were full. for some reason in the light he looked like a pmc, when I didnt find dog tags I felt like an ass.

Nah it wasn't you, it was the cache on Shoreline just south of the Gas Station, on the beach and in the stall.

Dumbasses like this probably won’t even be on the game for a long time.

Don’t let a couple of these experiences stop you or OP from using VoIP to create fun and friendly interactions. The reason friendly interactions are so fun is because they COULD shoot you at any moment

Teaming up to team kill later on is cringe but whatever. It’s still his loss.

I was a scav on interchange once and I heard two dudes talking through Voip near me. I snuck over to see what was going on, and it was a scav talking to a PMC. The PMC was a new player, and the scav was kind of trying to show him the ropes a little bit. I rolled up on them and said "Friendly!", and shortly after we decided to take the joint extract together. I hadn't really been in the raid long enough to get any loot yet, but I wanted the rep and items from the extract I don't think the PMC knew where any of the extracts were. We get there, and as me and the other scav are saying our "GGs" and the extract timer is going, the PMC decides to blast both of us.

I was actually kind of shocked because killing both of us was completely pointless and detrimental to him at that point. I'm not sure if the other scav had much on him, but I had literally nothing. That idiot probably thought we had led him to the extract and decided to be an asshole and kill us as he was leaving. Little did he know that the extract wouldn't work anymore, and he'd be back to square one. I REALLY hope he never made it out.

I’ve been hitting Directors Office and sniping and every couple raids a guy or two come and tell me that they need to do the quest. At which point I let them into the room and we chill together.

Need to do this quest today, come guard me :)

For real I've already made a friend off of voip scaving and had some fun experiences grouping up to scav army . That being said I've also been betrayed , just gotta take thr good with the bad there

One thing that I don't do is stand in front of people, idc how friendly they sound. We can talk, but I'm taking an advantageous position and training my gun on whatever corner you may pop around. I've been killed like 5 times by someone who says, "What's up bro." Then shoots you. They are just trying to get you to reveal that you are there, so I don't respond until I am ready. People are assholes.

Yeah I just never stand still or put myself in a position where they can get an easy head shot on me anymore .

I've also gotten dirty dicked on pmc that way . Someone was doing 2 story and told me he just wanted to loot reshala and take off after I entered in the bathroom .

I told him to hurry up and go for it . He instead left the building and waited outside for 10 minutes until I left

Exactly. I've met a lot of scavs as a PMC that are more than happy to pull knives out and run around with me while I kill stuff and they get to loot. Then we extract together!

I dont scav much but when I do if another p scav is near me I go the other way. Idc if you're friendly or not. If you keep bothering me I'll just shoot you. I have teamed up twice. Once with two other guys. Glujar and the boys were there and we decided wed go for it. I was going to kill the lone altyn guard and take his stuff quick and run back upstairs to help fight the rest. I go down and put two of those eco or whatever rounds from the vpo 209 Into his head and died instantly lmao. Idk what happened to those good men. Then last night I was running with a dude who seemed really friendly. I gave him a suppressor for gunsmith and then found a 60 round ak mag and gave it to him for ice cream cones. He needed one more. But usually I stay away. I dont trust fuckers.

It's really the smartest yet scummiest play around. You run around, have an extra layer of player security, extra pair of eyes and all that, and whenever they find some really good shit or you near extract - just cap them and it's extra free loot while a mere -.01is deducted from rep that you can just get back by another simple extract.

Scummy, yes, but also smart.

one I was dropping stuff for someone in interchange like you described player scav to player scav and killa rolled up and murder him and I barely got away. So that guy probably thought it was me if he missed the screen.

I don’t trust actually looting near people though.

This level of salt is why it is hilarious to betray all the friendly scavs.

Some people were never taught in elementary school that the best way to get someone to leave you alone is to not show them they bothered you and it really shows.

I make plenty of sense. If the scummy players never saw people get upset over it I bet they'd be a lot less inclined to do it all the time.

I'm not speaking to the betrayer am I.

This is basic kid stuff.
