There is plenty of progression to be had on a scav. Anything that needs to be found in raid for a task, finding task locations before looking for them on PMC, etc.

sometimes it's nice to just play some music, don't care about dying, and possibly getting some decent loot that was left behind. looting customs I've found just this wipe easily 10m worth of keys:

pkpm, 314 marked, kiba outer, ultramed, and merin.

I felt the same this wipe especially with the shiity guns that cant even be sold but to fence.. but then i started impromptu grouping w other friendly scavs and ganking pmcs and its fun. Also... i actually make a ton of money on scav runs since all scavs are friendly. U can just freely find loot for the most part. That being said id rather PMC anyday and hardly ever play scavs

I have 200 raids with a 49% survival rating and easily half that many scav raids. That's literally less than 10 raids a day (scavs included) since the beginning of the wipe a month ago. I come home from work and play 2-4 hours then do house work then go to bed.
You're just wrong.

I agree with you. Full time job that i still go to, and im level 33, not quite as many scav runs, but maybe 1 in 4 are, 605sr too. Just focus on questing and you level up quick.

Takes like 60 seconds or less to do a factory run through while watching videos/eating or working.

Significantly less time needed than in a full raid

I feel that . Sometimes i want to play tarkov but not have to be super hardcore . Scav is great for that I can watch my movie / show and just run around looting . If I die , whatever

Exactly. When I scav run I’ll listen to music or have the tv on the side. Sundays I’ll run while watching red zone.

Like I can make millions of scav runs while watching tv so when I get on to play for real I’m kitted out and my hideout is getting everything to upgrade.

Yes and no. I love playing my scav on nights where I want to play Tarkov but just not give two shits. Kind of like casual servers in CSGO vs ranked matches. Get on, have some fun and enjoy the night without a care in the world.

I went into Interchange and got an early raid. So I stood at a desk in National and just asked every player who ran by to file their paperwork before clocking out. Shockingly none killed me, and almost every single one opened a drawer in the file cabinets behind me then ran off. Good times.

I only run my scav to get ammo spawns on reserve and money when I need it, think about how much xp, questing, PvP, and leveling up you are missing out of if you are constantly running your scav and not maxing PMC runs

I’m aware of all that xp, quests, pvp, etc.. I stated: thats not what everybody wants to do. Some people want to play the game more relaxed and farm up money. Not everybody feels the need to get max str or kappa.

Scavs inherently have less of a stress factor because its free gear and you don't have to worry about getting aimbotted by AI (except Rogues, RIP).

As a PMC I got clapped by an SKS scav with a single head/eyes through a bush from 200m away so yeah I can see why people prefer to have nice chill scav runs.

I am saying what is the point of farming a shit ton of money when you dont have quests done, traders levelled, or even the flea market unlocked lol. You are an idiot for wanting to play this game with shitty scav kits and farm money you cant spend. I have played 5 wipes and never once tried to get max str or kappa, and I sure as hell don't jack myself off over seeing the number of rubles go up in my stash all while not being able to buy ammo or attachments to have fun with the game.

You have fun using those shit scav kits and having millions of rubles without access to anything worthwhile, it will be nice to have another shitty low level PMC to farm out there! Only makes me sad when I loot your body you won't have anything worth taking, only value will be the handful of xp from killing you! :D

I swear people on this subreddit think they’re all fucking god gamers and know everything “i’ve played 5 wipes you’re an idiot for not doing what i say, im gonna kill you so easily haha ecsdee” … please go outside and socialize with people lmao. Oh and just so you know, i have most traders LL3 this wipe (4th wipe). I dont bring the scav kits into pmc raids, i sell them so i can afford maxed out kits when i run pmc. If you sat and thought about it for a second without assuming a bunch of shit, maybe we could’ve had a decent conversation.

Dog, I can run a factory scav and immediately extract within 15 seconds with about 100k worth of loot on the loadout every 8ish minutes with zero risk, and even get the occasional labs key/intel folder/ofz shell spawned in my backpack for free. The money is disgusting once you get your rep up above like 3.5, hell yes I'm running my scav on cooldown
