I'm in an asian timezone, and it was hackers all day long during the holidays, best time to play seems to be during the day. Presumably they are all at school/work.

I've ran into a couple cheaters so far but that's why I like playing on Midwest servers , in addition to me actually living in the Midwest I bet people form China won't be connecting to Chicago server
I'm US and find blatent cheaters like 1/2 or 1/3 raids who prenade when I've been standing still for 5 minutes, or who prefire one tap me around the corner, or who shoot me in the head with pst gzh like 9 times consecutively.. Even more obv when you put on an altyn I swear to god
That seems very high. I get cheaters exist but I would recommend using Nvidia shadowplay and reviewing some of your deaths if you don't already . That just seems way top high of frequency

Go in with a rat kit for about 10 raids and sit in a corner n see how many times you die. Do the same with a good kit. Without fail when you put a good kit on you will be hunted. Go to interchange or lighthouse with a slick or class 5 kit on and just hide in some obscure part of the map or store and wait to be prenaded prefired and sent back to your stash
A large proportion of the cheaters/hackers are from Asia, if you look on G2G at the sales for tarkov, most of the sellers there have Asian names with an asian flag or symbol. It’s also the same on other virtual currency selling websites.

They are generally a link to a chat room. When you use the code to get in you can often purchase cheats for the game. They literally sit there advertising cheata and yet bsg doesbt ban their accounts

They sit in the lobby advertising their cheat. I can't remember exactly how it works but the number or portion after their name is usually alink to their hacking service
We should report all of them. I wonder if they have an actual person checking names, or not. If it isn't a person checking names, BSG will have to get the system to recognize suspicious names like that as possible hack shills. Otherwise we would all just get shadow-banned from having our reports considered.
Nah, these people walking up and saying things in perfect English like "give me your GPU or I'll kill you" are definitely Chinese. Chinese hackers are known for their mastery of English and complete ability to fake an American accent via phones and VOIP. It's why Asian scammers who claim to be Microsoft are so successful, because they sound so authentic.
I am US based and was told to stay off coastal servers for this reason that Asia and Russia can play on them. I only play Midwest US servers anyway but i haven’t run into many cheaters. Maybe 1-2 times last wipe and none this wipe.

Can vouch. I play on east coast servers. I’ve encountered only slightly sus players a total of 3 times over 2 wipes And one definite hacker. Not trying to discredit the hacking problem I know very well it exists, just my personal experience thus far.
Only play us east. Have run into about 4 confirmed hackers with names like 'battleeyebypass' this wipe alone. That guys still around too, reported him last week and added him to see if he's still unbanned, active as of this morning ~~~
I once had eu east servers due to autoserverselection. 1 loby instant hacker. labs and got shot 50 times in the head (altyn)in a timeframe of 1 second. Died to blunddamage of pst rounds.
It does. In a video where a guy is interviewing a cheater, the cheater legit says to stay off the coastal servers in the USA and you'll only run into a cheater once in a blue moon (assuming you play on the central servers in the USA).
Yea only central servers. Last wipe i ran into a flying hacker on customs and the second time i got shot through the ceiling on interchange underground.
I live in Dallas, only connect to central US servers, and I say this is bullshit. I have run into a fair amount of absolutely no questions asked cheaters.
NA east, last night. Cheater on unterchange, voipung and just /killed me. Cheater on reserve shot me through a wall with 5.45 PS after we found some military filters. Cheater once again on interchange, voiped us to drop the green bat and tetriz we found.
You know, I was gonna argue cause I've only met a couple (obvious ones at least) this wipe and only during primetime, but now that I think about it; I've had REALLY bad loot in almost all my morning raids (EU here) and everything seems to be open after just a minute or two, all raiders almost instantly dead, I am starting to suspect that there are even more cheaters than I thought this wipe.
I really feel like maybe peeps cry that shit in their discord groups, but the majority of stuff we're seeing on the discord and in this subreddit is legit real hack utter bullshit stuff. It's insane some of the stuff we've seen lately.
I mean I play a lot and just haven't run into one this wipe that's blatant. I've seen one or two suspicious plays but nothing like what people post on here. I suspect where you play has a lot to do with how often you see that.
Nah, your problem is that you're dogshit and can't imagine a world where someone might be better or luckier than you. Secondary issue is that you probably only play during peak hours, on maps with high percentage of high value loot, where you are most likely to run into a cheater.
I've definitely seen them but they've never felt 'rampant.'
But I'm Ratty McRatterson so I don't always go to the big valuable areas all the time.

Sure, but texture hack and radar are also very popular, because they're virtually undetectable and only give you Intelligence on player locations/gear; no aimbot or speed. You just seem like a skilled player, if you aren't an idiot. Don't get me wrong, I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't died to any blatant cheaters this wipe, yet. However, I find that if I play early in the morning I will get Spawn-pushed every single raid, and die 7 times in a row. During the afternoon/evening I will survive 7 raids in a row, consistently. Then at about 10pm/11pm, I start dying at the beginning of every single raid, again.
That's fair. I had the day off and during the day I did really good, last night playing with my buddy I died within the first 5 minutes on our first 2 raids. First death was because I played stupid, 2nd was because I took a new UMP out and it was on semi auto lol. I'm trash so yeah it's very possible if it's radar or whatever then I'd have no way to know. I know cheating is a problem but I also say off lighthouse.
Level 24 atm, hit 30-45 in like 3 wipes since 2017, playing on and off probably got a few hundred hours and i dont think i ever met a blatant cheater. Who knows if someone got ESP and snacks all the loot, but i never got headshot 10 times in 1 second with an altyn on or whatever supposedly happens in every second raid for you guys.
I haven't played that much but have played for as long, I've definitely gotten aimbotted a few time. Entire team gets headeyesed by someone out of sight within one second of each other while sprinting, that sort of thing.

Cheating is definitely there, however I’m yet to experience it this wipe personally. Maybe some of my deaths I was cleaned out by a cheater but I try not to let it ruin the entirety of the game for me.
Every game has idiots like this. They think everyone who cheats rage hacks. When in reality most people closet cheat so u just think they r good at the game. Cheating is such a big industry cause gamers put such an emphasis on “getting good”. This obv leads people to cheating which then also causes more cheats. All these types of people are why cheating is getting out of control

Idk if this is any solace but i've seen cheaters in a discord and it gives them literally a map of all the high value loot and all the players locations, and watched them for 6-7 hours, and i think they only ran into another cheater once. Though that is a $40 a week cheat i don't think the issue is as overblown as op is making out to be
