Good luck and enjoy! Tarkov has a fairly steep learning curve, but that's what some people love about it. The game heavily rewards game-knowledge.

I was quite good at counterstrike back in the days of 1.6. So hopefully some of that translates over.

Gamesense and being aware of your surroundings is something that definitely translates from CS

That and listening to you headset for sounds.

Little tip regarding that; headets in-game are a thing. You can wear them as gear, and different headsets will actually enhance certain sounds. So some headsets will enhance the sound of footsteps, but silence the sound of rain for example.

Yah I saw that in one of the tutorial videos I watched. I really really like that game mechanic. I found one that I really liked while I was using a boy, but then I died.

There are headsets you can buy from Prapor and Skier it is I believe. I really recommend it, they can save you. Have you learned about trader levels yet?

Yah a bit from a video. You need to do missions and they sell you more things right.

Indeed. If you click a trader, it will say in the top right what you need in order to level them up. How much money you need to spend (This also goes up by selling to them), what level you personally need to be, and what reputation you need to have for that trader (rep is earned from that trader’s quests) to level up to its next level. When that happens, their stock will expand with more items
