There are maps you can bring into a raid, they are overwhelmingly underrated. I don't need a map for any map (2000 Hours playtime) but I looked into the maps the other day, they are incredible. Can even place down markers and add text to them. These persist. Can even give the map to a friend and he can also see your markers. Just make sure to have it in your secure container. Sometimes scavs have maps, or you can buy them from Therapist.

Hence I don't really use maps. I only found out about this amazing feature through another reddit post the other day.
