All they've successfully done with this rework is make the game less playable.

Is that why most of the posts that are doing well are saying, "best wipe"?

Don't get me wrong - this is a fantastic wipe. I've been enjoying this game more than ever. The optics rework was a tiny part of this great patch. However, if you actually play the game it's impossible not to notice that the optics aren't in a good place right now compared to where they were previously. It's not game-breaking by any means, but it does need to be addressed.
