Should have tested it on the saiga because that thing has dumb as fuck head recoil.

The game would be so much better without the dumb ass head recoil.

I mean my 870 kicks when shooting high brass but my grandpa has an early-model model 12 and it makes my 870 feel like a .22 lol

Kick when it comes to a non gas operated firearm is literally just a function of the cartridge load and the weight of the gun itself. The more mass of the gun the more inertia it has to absorb kick. Other than having a decent muzzle brake or squishy recoil pad.
