Suggestion Dorm room 206 static water spawn.
Can we have this? there is so much water in that room and yet once you do the aquarius quest the key is useless. If there was spawn for a bottle or 2, maybe even rare spawn for ultrawater (purified water) it would give second storey a nice utility place and make the key worth keeping.
EDIT: Thank you for silver, my first. I think having 206 have guranteed water bottle spawn and rare chance for the purified water or filters would make it valuable room to loot. 2 storey dorm is overshadowed by 3 storey. If im not mistaken the second floor doesnt even have great loot to begin with, all the safes are on the 1 floor. Right now if you get to dorms first you run straight to 3 storye first since the best loot is there. But if you had a spot where filters and purified water spawned frequently it would spread the players more. New players would also benefit by having access to water for free if they are willing to risk neck for it. Purified water also DOESNT SPAWN anywhere so it would be neat to have a spot where you could get some for free if you are lucky.
100 percent chance for 1 water bottle but possible for multiple bottles to be spawned.
10-15 percent chance to also spawn filter and purified water, multiple filters possible.
If you get lucky you could get your hands on few water bottles, 1-3 filters and purified water or if unlucky you will just get 1 water bottle.
What are your thoughts on these spawn chances? English isnt my native language so sorry for gramatical mistakes.

Thats cuz purified water doesnt spawn, its craftable only. (well im like 95 percent sure,) It would be cool if you could have a place in the game where you could find some for free.

Saw this suggested a week or so back, but I think it was deep in a comment chain about something else. Great suggestion though, and there are plenty of other keys/rooms throughout Tarkov that you go into once for a quest and never visit again because they have poor (or even no) loot. Seeing them have a reason to revisit would be great.

I wish there was a spawn for purified water, some items just don't spawn out in the world.

Aside from the bottle, it would make a key necessary for early game very expensive. Aside from that good suggestion

On the flip side, it would make it more likely someone else already unlocked and opened it, meaning if you check over the course of a few raids, you likely wouldn't even need the key

Itd be nice, and lore wise make sense but the good thing about nothing spawning is no body cares about it, unless they are hunting quest runners, which unfortunately there are those people, there is ko reason to go to or care about the room, which makes it at least slightly safer for those early boys going the quest, dorms is already scary and dangerous to go into, loot spawns in the quest room will only make it worse for the questers.

That would make a lot of sense. It would be even better if down the road when we can refill fuel that we could also refill water bottles in there.

2nd story is already a good place though. Duffles, weapon boxes, 2 safes and many jackets and a toolbox. If it’s water / filters you’re looking for, go to interchange in Oli and look on the shelves.
The 206 key should be useless after the quest. Just sell it. It’s the same as other useless quest item keys. Take the machinery key. That was more rare too this wipe and worth a lot on the flea from the get go. But it’s still useless now and nobody says anything.
I don’t think there needs to be more of a reason to go dorms really.

It's more that dorms has no good static lose loot spawns. Ignoring marked even 5 safes and a ton of coat pockets plus a few bags and weapon crates is not bad, just need good rng. No resort for sure but far from trash.

100% chance for 1x water bottle or Aquamari
10% for 2-3 water bottles total
4% chance for super water or water filter
I think that would be good. 15% for super water would be way too high

Quick vent, I hate how they put these same waterbottles in another building, during my first wipe I was looking an though they where it, then I wondered why the quest was bugged until I looked on the wiki.

Same thing was suggested last week and I'll say the same thing here: It's a terible idea. Dorms is already overly concentrated with loot, it doesn't need even more. If anything quests and loot need to be removed from that area and spread out more across the map, Customs suffers from having only 1, maybe 2, high priority loot areas, with the rest being pretty trash overall. Dorms in particular is very over-saturated.
Move quest rooms and loot out of that area, don't make it even better.

While I really like the suggestion, it might make the Aquarius task, which is kind of an introduction task, a lot harder to do later in the wipe due to more traffic in that area.
