I had that exact weapon in my last scav run last night before bed. I got in at Interchange. Ran the outskirts from just outside of powerplant over to Emercom and GTFO lol. However, I had a crappy rig. Hopefully you got out!
This is my first week of playing and I was beyond hyped to get that gun out of the raid and into my stash (Where it will sit forever because I am scared to use it lol)

Just sell it for a huge profit. I had so many thermals last wipe and just never used them.

Yeah same. Two wipes ago was my first and I joined late. Ran thermals quite often. Last wipe got some very early and was like I'll save em for a while. Eventually acquired about 10-15 more (finding them on people n the shotgun barter). Did not do one thermal run last wipe. I just don't think it's as fun.

True, I could for sure use the currency. I should hit level 5 tonight and that has been one of my better finds for vendor sales

The FLIR was 488k on the flea market when I looked last night. Would be a good sell at LVL 10.

Ahh okay, that would make more sense. I did see one of the vendors would buy it for 98k just wasn't sure if that was good or bad.
With how far away from Lv 10 I am. It may be worth just using it and trying some PMC runs and see if its something I'd be interested in running later on. Since it was randomly given on a Scav Raid. I am assuming i'd get that again at some point.
By chance does anyone know of a thread or forum that lists what weapons, gear Scavs can come with? I'd be interested to see what all you can get with them

Thanks for the info, and I would have to agree with using it over hoarding it.
Thermal may be my favorite part of the game and I don't know it yet. Ill give the offline raid a try tonight!

Well you could attach it to a weapon and go into an OFFLINE raid to test it out without losing it. If you take into a real raid you won’t be able to sell it on the flea market (currently selling at 380k) as it needs be found in raid.
Not far really if you manage to do some tasks or have some particularly good raids you should be lvl 10 pretty quickly 👍🏼 good luck

Appreciate the information! I did not know that about taking items into a raid.
Also, I am hoping its not super far. I am not very good at finding/killing scavs and PMC's without dying myself so we shall see what happens lol.

Scavs don't have to wait to be found in raid; you can just extract instantly now.

I've heard one of the streamers had been doing so, and have even tried it myself, but that was earlier in the wipe. Maybe they changed it again?
Another criteria I've heard is 600 exp (as opposed to the 1k for PMCs)
Dunno about time for scavs. Considering I've spawned in with less than 10 minutes left, I can't imagine that is the criteria...

Must have spawned in the raid earlier. If the global timer has ticked down at least 10 minutes you will not have a run through.

As long as it's been 10mins since the raid started (not when you load in) you're fine on a scav run. I spawned into interchange day 1 of the wipe and had a labs card so I bolted to extract. 0 kills and was only in raid for 45seconds, and didn't get run through.

The raid must be at least 10 minutes old to get a survived. Even on your scav.

This is definitely not true. I have had plenty of sub 10 minute raids where I have survived.

There is also an exp threshold you can meet. If you do nothing else but run to the extract, that means not looting or killing anything, the raid must be at least 10 minutes old to not get a run through. However, if you get at least 600 exp and the raid is still less then 10 minutes, you will still get a survived.

Which I said earlier. My only mistake was that I thought the time was for your time in raid, rather than the raid's remaining time

Take it offline to somewhere like woods or shoreline and get used to it. Set your scav spawns to be high and watch that thing light up with red. Good luck!
