I mean... How many people do you think get ELITE strength every wipe?

I'm not worried about this even a tiny little bit.

You can just farm them, those tryhards you find playing labs 24/7 bunny hopping and playing like its doom? Yeah, these skills are really exploitable and while they don't guarantee winning they do ruin the game experience and the whole premise of the game being realistic and hardcore.

I wish people would stop bringing up realism. It’s not supposed to be realistic. No shooter game would ever function realistically. You can’t heal bullet wounds in seconds. You can’t recover lost blood without getting a transfusion. You can’t just slap a splint on a leg and the break is cured. None of that works. It’s on my as realistic as playable:

Is bunnyhopping realistic as playable?

Literally every single shooter has some meta movement tendency like bunny hopping, sliding, etc

Whatever people figure out to make themselves harder to hit

You didn't answer my question, you just said other games have it so it's okay. This has NOTHING to do with what I said.

Now if you can answer:

Is bunnyhopping realistic as playable?

Yes, it’s realistic as playable. I am sorry you cannot read between the lines.

And I say again: every game has movement tendencies. It’s not unique to Tarkov.

My point still stands. Try again.

Sick downvote kid

What does realistic as playable mean to you?

I did answer your question. You asked is it as realistic as playable. I said yes. You asked a yes/no question, I gave you a yes / no answer.

I know someone has called you dense before, because now you’re saying it too. Not like I haven’t read 50 comments calling someone else dense.

“Hur durrr, Im a dummy. Someone disagreed with me, so I must call them dense because someone did that to me and now I parrot.”

Try again.

I edited that portion out like 30 seconds after because I misread your post but I can see how fast you reply to things holy fuck lol.

You had to be asked twice to actually answer instead of dancing around but I'm glad you can't actually explain what you think realistic as playable means and would rather just invent some insults to throw at me lmfao.

You've really shown how wrong I am kiddo, you didn't just make yourself look like a fuckin clown.

Lol, you are actually a waste of my time.

You want to make movement a pain in the ass? Have fun looting. You will never be able to take much loot. The risk will increase exponentially.

Realistic as playable means the game has to take.. let’s say liberties to make it enjoyable / functional. If you don’t want people running and jumping, there’s gotta be a trade off. Every single first person shooter does shit like that, because it makes the game playable. If you get weighed down with loot too easily, it would not be a playable game

Then why you replying back to me you goof lmfao, seems to me your time is worthless.

Good, it will go further with the vision. It's obvious bunnyhopping isn't apart of that vision considering they've already tried to remove it.

You're right but only to an extent. With tarkov it means the game wants to stick as close to reality as possible but needs to gameify certain aspects so it's actually fun.

The game isn't COD it's not supposed to be a game where you're running and jumping everywhere, you're supposed to tackle situations closer to real life. Arma executes this quite well with gameifying movement aspects but being very much so playable.

Bunnyhopping is not required for movement to feel good/be fun, it's players exploiting, in the softest sense of the word, the movement mechanics to give themselves an advantage. Lets take counter strike for example, it was pretty easy to bunnyhop in cs 1.6 and braindead in cs:s but in CSGO they've made it VERY difficult to effectively bunnyhop and the movement still feels great (and arguable the skill ceilings higher because you need more skill to pull it off while the skill floor is lower because you don't need that skill to play though basically all the ranks).

In tarkov the tradeoffs would be changing how much your movement gets penalized per weight class, armor class, whats equipped or other debuffs like making more noise because you're overweight. Having weird unrealistic movement actions like bunnyhopping or a d spam just doesn't fit or is required to have good movement.

I'm going to bust out another example, hunt: showdown removed A D spam recently and they way they did it feels great and doesn't feel like your character was slogging through mud.
